I guess I'm lucky today. I have off the rest of the week so I'm just bumming around. Thinking about loading up the ol' account with a couple hundred and playing this afternoon's west coast game. The under is kinda calling my name.

Funny enough, I work for one of the bigger law firms in Greensboro, NC. I wear many hats for the company. I guess you could say that i'm an assistant office manager. I help to make sure that all 70+ attornies at our office (and their secretaries) stay happy and have what they need. I also travel to our other offices (Raleigh, Wilmington, Charlotte, and Atlanta) at times. The best thing is that it's a great firm to work for. They really take care of me. I've never one woken up and dreaded going into work.

I usually get there between 7:30-7:45 in the mornings and leave around 5. But you sorta just roll with the punches, day by day. So do you work for a big firm, small firm, solo practice? You enjoy the work?

I'm in-house, I work for a large corporation. I love the work. The first few years were a lot of late hours, but now it's pretty routine...
That's the most important thing really. Enjoying what you do. So you had to put in "your dues" like most young attornies. That seems to be something that can't be escaped. Have you been with the same firm for a while now? I've been with mine for over 5 years now

Yes, almost 8 years. I've been a few other places prior to that. It's just nice not to have to work super long hours anymore...
Two out runs are killing us in the A's game. Gotta have a scoreless three innings to get a push now. C'mon pitching!!!
