Thoughts on a home security system.

I have had one for 8 years and rates keep climbing, wife never turns it on when she leaves. Thinking of either changing companies or doing with out.

I've got two dogs that are very territorial and let us know when someone is in the driveway.

I'm really trying to cut cost wherever I can. Any thoughts?

Ive accidentally set off two alarm systems... one at my parents house and one at a friends... both took at least 25 minutes for me to deactivate..

The cops didnt show up either time.. :mj07:

Get rid of the thing... ur dogs will help and also a sign that says "This Property is Protected by Smith & Wesson"

Make SURE if you have a monitored alarm system you are getting at least a 25% discount on your homeowners policy which can offset the costs.
