My wife forced me to have one with her once. I must say I wasn't all that impressed. I can cut and file my nails myself. I guess they get a high price for it because they combine all of those foo foo ingredients with it like the oils and lotions. I think I tipped 20% for it which is pretty much the norm with me. 20% = expected service, 25% great outstanding service, get treated badly no tip.

Well, I just showed the wife this thread and she's like, "There's nothing wrong with a man getting a manicure, I see it all the time". Totally deflated me.

She tips 20% BTW.
