Pizza Inflation

Domino's used to have a 5-5-5 deal. I don't know what inches the pizzas were, perhaps 12". Then it went to a 4-4-4 deal for 10". Now it is back to 5-5-5, but for 10".

It seems to me that there is a lot of inflation out there. Three 10" pizzas for $16. That's not a great deal.

yeah, that is a ripoff. mine was 3 thin crust one-topping. i know some people don't like domino's but i do.

i thought pizza hut had some 5-5-5 deal itself. might be for one topping.

I like to order online with Pizza Hut.

They have really good chicken wings.

I dont care for Dominoes.

There are Papa Johns that are pretty good pizzas.

Best pizza in New York though. Vinnie's people know how to throw that dough around

Flour (for the dough)has tripled. Probably why the prices are now out of whack. 50 lb bag use to be around 12 bucks. Now around 36

Yeah, 3 months ago a local joint here had a large 2 topping pizza for $13.99 now it's $19.99.

Guess we've got to get used to all the high prices! :scared

yyz,

Is Joe's in Fondy?
I travel through there quite often, and am always looking for good pizza.

Yes, it's on north Main Street.

Stop at any Main Street gas station, and they'll get you there.

No Domino's pizza is a good deal, IMO.

dominos and pizza hut both are terrible - pizza is a rip off these days.

true dat! Papa Johns is my favorite by far. We used to have a Hungry Howies and Little Ceasar's that were both quite tasty. Dominos is horrid, and the only thing I like at Pizza hut are the personal pan and the new pasta they have rocks pretty hard.
