There is a tremendous differance in these two candidates.

One is bright, charismatic, leader type, the other is dumb as a rock old bastid.

Doggy Duh. Its a no brainer

Scotty after the Iraq leader just sided with Obama and wants our troops out of Iraq this could be a very dangerous time for Obama. The neocons want to stay. Still billions to be stolen there. Instead of getting out of Iraq the Bush McCain team wants to stay. Why would you want to stay when the whole country except for a few screwballs wants to leave:shrug:

Cafferty: Why do many Europeans prefer Obama?
Posted: 01:15 PM ET

(CNN) ? "The world is waiting to love America again" is a quote from a recent editorial in a British newspaper, and many Europeans are hoping Barack Obama will provide them with just that chance. When Obama travels to Europe later this week, it's expected he'll be treated like a rock star ? mobbed by cheering fans in Berlin, Paris and London.

A recent poll in England found 70 percent of Italians, 67 percent of Germans, 65 percent of the French and 49 percent of Britons would vote for Obama. Compare that to Republican John McCain, who gets support from 15 percent of Italians, 6 percent of Germans, 8 percent of the French and 14 percent in Britain.

Books about Obama are hot sellers in France, and some European newspapers describe him as a "John Kennedy of our times." After eight years of unilateral "my way or the highway" George Bush, Europeans are hungry for the change Obama is offering, especially when it comes to America's role on the world stage.

It's been a long time since the visit by an American politician has been so highly anticipated in Europe.
..............................................................

I guess DTB was wrong about his Europe figures.

And my German sister in law knew.

Sad that the rest of the world or a smalll portion atleast sees all the good this guy could bring, and how TIRED of this mentality we currently have everyone is, but our own citizens are not able to. The ignorance is amazing

We have a lot of people who are easily conned. fighting for billionaires rights when they think they are gonna be one :mj07: . Ceo of Fannie mac will get bailed out and made 20 million last year:shrug: . What a great business. You fail and the tax payers bail you out:shrug: . Phony conservatives have no problem with this as long as these guys are rich. Only in America. You have some phony conservatives in here talking about wanting the truth after supporting two guys who have been lying to them for seven years and they still can't see it:142smilie . Support billionaires but socialize their losses. Got to love it. The billionaires who actually care about the country you don't have to bail them out. Got to like McCain talking about the country first and the party second. Sad tho his base is party first and the country somewhere around 10th.

Damn all that is well put, amazing how NOBODY is for socializing medicine and insurance but these GIANTS that have ripped us off when the economy was booming FOR THEM now can have the government, excuse me have US, step in and bail them out....because the government isnt putting money up that isnt ours, I wonder if I could take my small problem to Old GW and get some help, I was ripped off by a company who contracted work out for DIRECTV and after telling us we did great work and our numbers were in coordinance they pulled the rug from under us because I have a crew of 5 trucks and they were looking for ATLEAST 10 trucks per company, but the kicker was they didint even pay my final check--I paid my subs OUT OF POCKET and took a good hit with it, now will G-Dubb be able to send me that 9500 back to me for the last weeks payroll, ontop of my check which it turned out I worked for free that week due to the fact all my profits and work done was also rolled into paying the technicians? I mean Fannie May and Mac should just fold and the people living in those houses should just be sent the deeds:00hour
This corporate country chit has to be ended, and hopefully THE PEOPLE of this country will gain it back and kick corporate America in the A$$.

Fannie Mae was founded as a government agency in 1938 as part of Franklin Delano Roosevelt's New Deal to provide liquidity to the mortgage market.

Cool, how much do they give back to the public....or do they keep all those big profits for PRIVATE, I would love for the government to open a business for me and let me collect the millions it makes. 1938 to the yr 2008 is a long time. Looks like Wachovia is reporting a 9 billion dollar loss as well, mostly due to mortages, many of mortage companies are losing there asses after gaining shitloads of profits for the previous years....I think THEY should deal with it and NOT PUSH THERE PROBLEMS ON US. Close the doors if thats what has to be done.
