Can't lay $big wood on a team with no closer. 1st option is on the DL. 2nd best closer option (Marmol) completely sucks right now. 3rd option (Howry) also completely sucks right now. The rest of the pen is very suspect. Samardzija and Marshall are recent arrivals from the minors and Gaudin is a newer arrival from Oak. That leaves you with Eyre, Cotts, and Hart. All serviceable for a few outs but nothing to lay heavy chalk on.

Also, their offense has been very suspect since the All Star break.

I agree completely. And no way CHC is worth that kinda juice. People are paying it though. 1st 5 innings sure, but nothing over 160 for this team right now at home. Had Fla yesterday +.5 and got burried in the 5th with 2 outs... Almost had it. Today I just had NYY on early stuff but did think about FLA 1st 5 and game again... You make very good points on this shaky team (at best right now).....

i look for Harden to go deep into this game maybe all the way? but i would not play the r/l thats for sure.i also think the cubs bounce back today. line i feel is right for the marlin takers today. nice points I/O
