I'll be waiting for the "WELL YOU MUST WORK HARDER" COMMENTS THAT WILL FLOOD THIS THREAD, THIS is totally unacceptable to me.....but theres NO WAY they can afford to help the NATION in any way because they are far to deep into Washingtons pockets. Seriously this is just sick, not that they are making money, but NO OTHER COMPANY HAS EVER made this much PROFIT EVER!!!! And all the while we are left in the dust scraping and scratching to make it. How about them bailing out Fannie-Mae,Mac.....:shrug:
Also some guys around here who probably don't have a pot to piss in but think like billionaires, will tell you that if gas was adjusted for inflation it would be a million dollars a gallon so be thankful it is this cheap. Some people you can mold their mind like it is playdough and make them parrot anything you want as llong as it comes from their shepperds.
The shame of it is, is that we have to indure their insults while their stupidity flushes our country down the toilet.
Stevie check this out. sorry this is a little of topic. I saw a health care fight on another sight with a lot of these brainwashed neocon thinking shills ganging up on a few guys. I rarely talk politics at this site but i come in the thread and asked them if they could provide one Canadian who would rather have our health care system. After proving to these nitwits we don't have the best health care in the world (this is one of their chest pounding bullshit talking points) they couldn't come up with a Canadian. Then one jumped in and said this.
Well the difference is simple, Canadians are happy with the system we have, Americans seem not too happy with theirs.
The American system doesn't affect me at all, I have Canadian government run socialized health care and I'm very happy with it, the attitudes of our two countries are very different, in the US anything "government or "socialist" is seen as bad. Those labels don't frighten anyone here.
Go ahead keep your system, its no sweat to me.
I don't want to debate (politics/health care) online, its pointless, especially with the ignorance of some Americans.
I'm very happy in Canada (most Canadians are - were not running to the US border like down south), life is good, and I have health coverage until I die.

Ben Stien said today there is something gone wrong. He is a Reb so he didn't read memo from Cheney about oil co love you. Anyway 8 years ago when we were paying 1.40 for fuel Exxon still made 4 billion profit. This would debunk exxon saying it's harder to make profits at lower price levels.
Sponge, these Bush apologists we have here do not even understand that Health Care is all ready Socialist. When you sign up for a plan you are thrown into a pool and everyone shares the cost of providing health care to the members by their premiums. So the only difference is that you are in a larger pool or a smaller pool. The Health Care Industry along with Big Oil are among the real terrorists we have to watch out for. They are taking this country down. But I wouldn't expect the Bush lovers on here to see it. They only see their deductions and their loopholes.
