My son graduated a few weeks ago from ECU and instead of moving to Raleigh,NC he took off to Austin looking for a job.He is moving in with my oldest daughter for a few months until he gets settled in.
He filmed a 2 minute time sequence of his trip from leaving his room in Greenville....driving through NC,Alabama,Mississippi,Louisana[New Orleans....entering Texas...arriving in Austin. The music or song comes from a local Austin band[I think]

Pretty cool video...4 years of college...all put in his Toyota....and drives across the country...

if for some reason this doesn't work can one of you guys do it..thanks...

Nice job.

Looks like he drove past Mother's in NOLA. I hope he stopped for a bite:SIB

Poydras & Tchoupitoulas is a bit off the beaten path between Greenville & Austin but probably not a better choice for lunch during the entire trip. I hope he got the Ferdi's Special with extra "debris". ;)

In a single year, Mother's serves up:

No less than 175,000 pounds of ham and roast beef
More than 40,000 pounds of turkey
A staggering 30,000 pounds of homemade sausage
Quarter of a million biscuits (and even more eggs!)
A whopping 90,000 pounds of jambalaya
Some 25,000 soft-shell crabs and even more shrimp
Nearly 250,000 pounds of cabbage
An incredible 150,000 loaves of French bread
As many pies as there are ships passing through the port of New Orleans (3,500)
A spicy 1,500 gallons of Creole mustard
And an honest ton of hot pepper sauce

I also hope that "Son of Box" finds a great life in Austin.

Hook Em!
