First game of the year...ah, feels good...(well, not so much if it loses! :0corn )

KC @ Chicago over 32.5

Bears should be able to put up some decent points here. Orton starting and Grossman competing for the starting spot...first team offense will playing the whole first half to give both QB's equal opportunities.
KC defense looks bad as it is, so will really struggle here you'd think.
KC will be running a more QB friendly offense...lots of movement and throws on the run, so they'll either get something going or point of turnovers will do just fine!

Also like the look of the Jets/Brownies over...but local thunderstorms??
Pennington/Clemens fighting out for the no. 1. spot, Clemens went 16/22 174 3TD in Pre 1 last year...Browns defense doesn't look like it's taken many steps forward...
...But their offense still rocks. Well, rocks?...maybe not, but solid QB rotation with Anderson, Quinn will get quarters 2 and 3, with Dorsey mopping up.

Reckon I'll be on it.

Also looking at the Det/NYG under. Lions defense on top of offense in scrimages...Orlovski to get major time and is happy not to force things...and they want to "work on their running game".
Not sure if NY will be too fussed about doing much...

Philli are 2-15-1 last 18 first games ;)

Thanks guys. :toast:

Hope all's well with you too Hooks.

NYG @ Det under 33

Found a good number, think I'll play it.
Giants look to be going in pretty thin receiver-wise...Manning in then out.
Plus, they couldn't score on each other last year when they were trying to! :142smilie

Yeah...not sure the Chicago game went exactly to plan... :142smilie

...but taking it none-the-less. :drinky:

Oakland v. San Fran over 33

Forget about Russell I guess (all a bit of an unknown quantity? )...but a solid 2+ quarters of Walter and a mop up by Tuiasosopo against a pretty horrible (2nd/3r string) SF D should result in some points.
O'Sullivan has looked good in practice by all accounts...and you don't reckon Alex Smith knows it!
Those two will be playing "well into the 3rd", so there should be plenty of balls flying about.
Last year's pre-season game was 21-26, and 3 of last 4 (NFLX) have gone over this number.

Was 33.5's mostly when I looked but found an Australian book who were a bit slower than most...

...they'd argue a bit smarter too. :cursin:

Well, San Fran run D hasn't improved people... :nono:

Mia v. TB over 31.5 (1.98)

Can only assume the line s dropping due to McCown (Snr) not playing...I'm only guessing, but I think it's safe to say he has his marchig orders by now!
Still, Miami want to win ths game...they want t turn things around, which will mean bloody near a whole game of John Beck!
Threw for 162 with 2 TD's and no INT's last pre-season v. TB, so no reason he won't repeat that...esp. now he is fighting for a back-up job...
...with Henne of course, so expect him to come out firing when given the chance!

Tampa pretty much going with Luke McCown and Greise all the way it seems (Garcia injured)...
...Griese av'd a little over 22 points in 8 games last year...
...McCown nearly 21 pgg...and a QB Rating of 93.45 in his last 4 games last year...3 of which were on the road!

Some thunder storms forecast..but Cleveland showed that can be overcome!...points!

SL v. Tenn over 33 (1.95)

Rams offense is looking strong again under Saunders...and the first group will be in for Maybe a little more. Maybe a little less," he said. "It depends on what we get done. But that would probably be a fair benchmark right now, and then the '2s' would play ... hopefully a couple of quarters, maybe more."

...says to me that they want Bulger to score!

Berlin and Gradkowski will fight it out for a roster spot, always good for some air ball action...(No Green apparently)...

Titans will play their first stringers into the 2nd quarter, with Collins to follow...
...and with half of the Rams' starting secondary out of action they should put up some points.
