Between The Hedges
I guess Marino and Montana would be better choices than Rodgers too, by that logic.

Look I agree the packers are doing what is best for 3 years down the road, but if you believe the packers are better with rodgers this year then you are insane.

And btw your logic is that any unproven QB is better than Farve:thinking:

Yea, and in the NFL, building for 3 years from now is very stupid... most GM's understand this - injuries and parity have changed the league to winning now - and not worrying about tomorrow.

Which is why it is a GREAT trade for NYJ - getting one of the best QB in history for basically nothing.

I think I'd take Montana, etc over Rodgers. Heck, I'd take Matt Schaub, Derek Anderson, Jon Kitna - guiys like that over Rodgers.

It will be a long year.....

Best bet of the year - Minnesota +2' in week 1 against GB. Bet on it!

Like I said, "we'll have to see".

The fact is........we are all just guessing.

Well, no kidding

Is that what a chat board is all about - debating topics that nobody really has the answers to?

I guess it would help if we had the sports almanac that Biff had in Back to the Future - where we knew the winners and stats ahead of time...
