Well..the time is here for drafts. I just pulled #1 pick for my work league. Just wanted all of your expertise opinions on who I should draft first!! Of course LT & Brady come to mind, but looking for other opinions.....this league seems pretty even point wise. Basic points for the respected positions....thanks in advance!

Actually they decided to make it a "keeper" league this year. Who we draft this year...we keep next year.

Ya...these work guys like to make it interesting. Was leaning to LT for sure....I have a weird feeling AP is going to blow up for some reason (Get hurt). I drafted him last season as a sleeper pick....I can say he did me fairly well!

Would Tom Brady be stupid to pick over LT?? As far as fantasy points are concerned.....Believe it or not this is only my second year playing fantasy football. Been wagering on sports for 15+ years and just never got into fantasy for some reason.

You never take a QB #1 overall.

LT is the choice.

If this is a true dynasty league & you plan on playing for the next 3 years or more I would go w/ Peterson.

Ok....I take LT first.....then by the time my next pick gets back to me mostly all the solid QB's will be gone most likely. There are many solid RB's...many more than QB's.

Give me some sleeper QB's in case my choices are limited......Like I said if I pick 1st then it goes to #10 picking twice then back through #9, #8, etc. then back up to #1 with me getting two picks in a row.

Thanks for the help fellas......Now ya got me think'n about AP maybe going #1 for me!! I don't see why he can't have another monster season unless he gets hurt. That O line is huge!

But I assume you are going to start two or maybe 3 running backs, and one QB. Have to go RB with the first pick, can always grab a 2nd tier QB later.

You're right.....RB it will be. LT, AP...or Westbrook. LT hands down! Most likely going with him....draft is tonight!

This is incorrect thinking.

There is very little difference in scoring between QB #5 & QB #12.

It makes sense to pass on the QBs till later & stock up on RBs/WRs.

Then you can take 2 QBs in later rounds 7/8 or so maybe...look at the schedules & find 2 QBs that would make a good pair based off of match ups. Dont panic you can grab a lot of decent QBs late.

This is an even more viable strat if your league only scores QB TD as 4, not 6 pts.

I draft 2nd this year and will be taking A.P.

I follow 3seconds line of thinking and will likely gobble up the best remaining RB on the board by the time it gets back to me, such as McGahee or MJD...otherwise i will go WR/WR in Rd 2 & 3 since this is a PPR league.

Here's my QB combos for later in the draft...probably looking to target these guys in 7th-10th rounds.

Garrard & Schaub
Bulger & Schaub
Garrard & Young
Garrard & Rodgers
Schaub & Young
Bulger & Garrard

I'd take any of those combos and will compete with the stud QB's.

Unless Gates or Winslow is there late at a reasonable round, which I guess they won't be.... I'll do the same thing with my TE position. I really like Owen Daniels, Shockey and Scheffler this year outside of the top 3, but assuming that they are already gone by the time I pick up my first TE, I'll look to target these TE combos...probably around the 11th and 12th rounds.

Zach Miller & L.J. Smith
Zach Miller & Ben Watson
Zach Miller & Alge Crumpler
Zach Miller & Greg Olsen
Zach Miller & Marcedes Lewis
Zach Miller & Kevin Boss
Zach Miller & Donald Lee
L.J. Smith & Crumpler
L.J. Smith & Watson

Since we have 3 WR's in our starting line-up, I thought about trying the same kind of thing with my 3rd WR.... The list is too long, but I will say this.... After throwing out the first 37 some odd WR's, I will be definitely targeting Reggie Brown in round 7.

By the time I get to Round 6, I hope to have A.P. another good RB, 2 good WR's and either a stud TE (preferrably Winslow, Whitten or Gates) or a stud QB (preferrably Brees, since i expect the top 3 to be gone early) or a solid 3rd WR in which case I will be doing QB by committee and TE by committee....

You're welcome. :SIB

I ended up taking LT 1st. Hope he stays healthy.....

My QB's are E.Manning/Rodgers
My TE's are D.Clark/Z.Miller

I'm sure many changes will be made to the team...
