Fantasy RB help

Draft is Tuesday and want some input on RB's. Our league you can holdover a player from your last years team. There were 8 RB's that are holdovers.

S. Jackson
Gore
Portis
Addai
Westbrook
L. Johnson

I have the 8th pick this year. What are some RB's that i could take with the 8th pick? Im definetely taking a RB with this pick or would you draft another position as all the top RB's are gone from being heldover from last year?

not many rb's left at the elite level and there should be a few that go before you pick at #8

marion barber is my keeper and i dont see him on that list....jamal lewis is out there as well.

basically are you willing to take the #13 rb vs taking the #1-2 qb/wr???

i'd probably take brady/manning/brees over a 3rd level rb at #8

Manning and Brady are both holdovers. We have 2-QB's and 8-RB's that are holdovers. I thought about Barber but he might not be there. Brees is on my list as well but he probably will be gone also. Jamaal Lewis is out for me.

good catch....he's gonna be a beast this year and is in the first group of available rb's....hard to see him slipping to 8th in that guy's draft however.

but yeah you might want to think about Brady or P Manning if lynch or barber are gone...

I would say wait on WR's, its a deep class this year

Manning and Brady are both gone. This is a 10 team league and 2-QB's and 8-RB's are holdover players

Who is MJD?

if i dont get a RB with this 8th pick then basically i will only have one RB for the year thats worth a crap.

What about Michael Turner for Atlanta. Would he be a reach at #8?

Dont forget the RBBC theory ,thats theres more RBS avaiilable cause of this reason.

Def. draft a RB your first pick,but theres plenty (James from AZ. for example.)Availble later on.

In other words dont overbuy when you draft.:shrug:

im trying not to overbuy but would like a RB with that 8th pick. If not i would love to have Brees but i doubt hes there. I really dont want a WR with that pick.

Funny I have 5th pre-detrmined pick.

Would love Westbrook there,but thinking that hes gone.My worries is Jackson gonna be there? if not or even still do I take Gore?:shrug:

Gore with Martz as OC might not get that many carries.

Yeah,Gore could be a overvalued.
But come on here Bush is a classic overbuy,no?

i would love for barber to be there but i know he wont. Lynch im looking at hard. I know i can get white later on. Im going to take Chester Taylor late if i can just in case petersen goes down.

What about Michael Turner?

What im trying to say is IMO dont overpay for Bush,Gore Etc when you can easily have Lewis,White ,Etc.

Barber at 8,Id take.
If Portis is there take him.

Other then that id be careful.
Its a RBBC League these days.
In other words there plentiful.
Dont overspend.
