Never learn a second language. Make the world conform to America. We are all powerful. We are Almighty. We will force our will on everyone. What an ass that Obama is. Trying to get us to raise our intelligence. Challenging us to prepare to better compete in a global market place. Asking us to recognize the fact that there are a ton of people in this country that speak spanish and that number is growing every day. What a dick!

Too bad Obama doesn't realize they gots computer programs that can help, if needed, to get across any language barrier. Too bad he's not aware of how kids can't read and right and can't handle math in his own stomping grounds.

I don't think doing the absolute minimum (translation software) is what he has in mind. I know it sucks to challenge ourselves (as a country) but at least he's thinking about our future.
I'm sure he's plenty aware that there are children being left behind....all of us, save Bush, are. Drifting off topic is a defeatest tactic....let's pretend he's just challenging the people of this country that care about competing in a global economy.
I'm still not sure how in the hell Obama came out of nowhere to be the nominee, but he is. I'm not going to vote for him because I have a much stronger belief that the two party system needs to be abolished, so I use my vote towards an independent candidate. All that said, I still think the guy makes some great points. For you right wingers to dismiss everything out of the guy's mouth as laughable is a complete joke. Wake up.

We've already have a thread on this topic here somewhere. I said the same thing then as now. I'm not being dismissive. "Mr Change" is being a very good politician (OMG) with his stance. It would be serving no purpose to further this country to throw out lame expectations/comments just to come across as some agent of change.
As I've stated a while ago, I'm not voting for either of these idots myself. I'm also all for a 3rd, 4th, and 20th party. Also I've stated I've love nothing more than for the republican candidate to get absolutely crushed this election. To bad it looks like he's going to give the dumb ass democrats a real run for their money. They should have this election in the bag but are managing to lose ground.
Obama isn't being serious when he's making statements like this. He's not interested in the facts or REAL CHANGE.
