Just announced that Julio Jones will be only the 9th freshman ever to start for the Crimson Tide Saturday night against Clemson!

This guy is UNBELIEVABLE and could easily start for the Titans right now:mj07:

6'4
215
41 inch vertical leap
4.4 speed

check out this video of the future star for the Tide :scared

Any worries that he won't perform due to the big contract he signed this year?

Hope he does not end up like Prothrow?

Hope he does not end up like Prothrow?

We all know that was just stupidity by Shula. That cost him his career.

Saw 10-15 games JULIE OOOO played over the last 2 years. No heart or desire!! These things can change though. Has all the physical tools(Dont know about brains?) Deandre brown from D'iberville was 2 notches above Julie oooo No doubt about it! Just dumb as a rock!! These BAMMERS will find out saban isnt the savior and Julie ooo certainly isnt!!

Andy, it amazes me how these Cajuns bash Saban. He won them a national championship for the first time in forever and then left the cupboards more than full for that moron Miles to win another championship.

Don't understand the hate at all.

Anyway, very excited about the start of the season. I don't think we win more than 8 games this season, but I hope I'm wrong.

Trying to stay level headed about Julio and the other freshman. Certainly excited about the prospects though.

Born and raised in Bammer Also born and raised an LSU fan (dad went there) Les has continued to fill the cupboard at a per recruit star average "better" than saban's recruiting years at LSU. Dont believe me look it up!! Saban isnt a good coach at all!! Never liked him period. Good recruiter yes but Talent won at LSU. How many major schools recruit against LSU in LA??? LES was an offensive lineman at Michigan: I think he knows football wouldnt you think? Bear Bryant was stupid as they come but he knew football. Think about that!!

Which Cajuns are you referring to? I see only DVLSU bashing Saban. Furthermore, Les has matched or outdone Saban recruiting-wise. Any questions, see LSU massive depth of talent at DB, DL, RB and OL. All four areas are as loaded as they have been since I began following LSU in the mid 80's. Saban left the OL in average condition at best. Either way, Saban is an excellent HC imo. His hiring of Tommy Moffit led to the turn around in the LSU football program. I know your strength coordinator personally. He is a close friend of mine from childhood whom I respect a bunch. Ask him, and he will tell you himself that he is no Tommy Moffit.

For the record, I do not understand why the dorks on LSU and Bama message boards are always at each other's throats, but IMO posts like yours - calling Miles a moron - do little but perpetuate the silly back and forth. Of course, I know that Miles is an idiot, but the nerds who actually argue this type of stuff don't;)

Seems like he is a great athlete.

My guess is Bama will overtake Auburn soon as tops in the state. Seems like its heading that way, but the unbelievably poor talent left by Shula will take time to correct.

Thanks Cie for a "constructive" analysis that I think is dead on. Shula not only was a terrible recruiter, he was a joke on the sidelines.

Don't think Tide was calling out all LSU fans, just this one who keeps coming and bashing at every opportunity.

Brent, I am hoping for 8 wins this year my friend, our road schedule is unbelievably tough and I could easily see 5 losses :scared

Are you ready for some football!!!!

:mj07: Come on now, 6 wins a row against Bama and it is heading that way? I guess you mean recruiting, but we will have to see how both teams pan out...
