Cranking it up once again.
Kent State +10 vs BC 2 units
In Julian Edelman, Kent State has one of the better dual threats at quaterback in the nation. Hampered by a torn PCL last year, he was clearly not the player we saw in the past. He then broke his arm in week 8 and was sidelined the rest of the season. He also has the very talented RB Eugene Jarvis to carry the ball. At just 5'5'' 170 Lbs. Jarvis is the nations top returning running back demonstrated by his 139 yard per game and 6 yards per rush in '07.
Kent returns 15 starters from a talented team that was totaly decimated by injuries in '07. This may be the greatest time of all to catch BC after the graduations of Ryan and their top RB's from last year.If healthy, Kent has a chance to make some real noise this season and I'm hoping that it starts in week one.
Western Mich +14 at Nebraska 2 units
Western returns 19 starters from '07 and Cubit will have them very well prepared. The Bronc's won outright at Iowa last year and should be very competitive in this game. It will be interesting to see how long it will take for Pelini to restore the swagger in the blackshirts because WMU can really move the ball.
Other plays, all for one unit each:
Miami -4 vs Vandy
Miami under 41
Wisconsin -26' vs Akron
Wisconsin over 53'
