2 Easy NFL Plays for Week #1 of the regular season

I finished on the plus side for the preseason despite having a losing record thanks to the Saints -3 EASY over the Bengals in which I made a medium size 2 unit play despite it being preseason.

I took the money and ran by not playing anything last week.

I locked this one in 5 weeks ago because i felt this line was soft....and yes indeed it's now up to -3...the Lions have too many offensive weapons for a Falcons defense...and the Falcons will be starting a rookie QB Matt Ryan with a rookie head coach leading the way.

Buffalo Bills +7 over Seahags...the wrong team is favored in this one...the Hags receiving core is descimated by injuries and they must travel east to an early time zone in which they will be playing at 10:00 am on their clock...plus the Bills special teams is far superior to that of the Hags and will be playing in front of a super-charged packed house at the Ralph...I like the Bills outright in this one with or without OT Jason Peters who will likely report on Monday.

Philadelphia Eagles -1 over Rams...The Rams just might be the worst NFL team this season after everything is said and done.

I pounced on it as soon as I saw the line back in July...just 5 days later the line jumped to -3.

Yup...rookie QB...first year head coach...and... a defense that may have dealt it's best DB in DeAngelo Hall to the Raiders in the offseason going against a Lions team loaded at the wideout position...plus even though it's preseason...Kitna looked as sharp as ever...the Lions should come out on top in this one as long as the Lions "D" is able to stop the Falcons running game.

Tennessee's 1st string did not score an offensive TD in 19 possesions in the pre season

The 1st stringers didn't look good...but I heard that the Titans ist stringers used very little of their playbook during the preseason...I' staying far far away from that game because their rivalry starts from both coaches Fisher and DelRio who are both USC alums and although they have a friendly relationship...neither one wants to come out on the short side of the score when their teams meet...the Jaguars are the better team...but...they have questionmarks on the offensive side of the ball with HB Drew being banged up with an ankle and WR Porter being held out of the preseason because of injury...the teams split last season with the road team winning both games.

I won't be laying any coin on this game. :mj08:

New York Giants -3 (bought the 1/2 pt last friday just to be on the safe side)

Even though it's just preseason I don't like the way the Redskins have fallen apart the last few weeks...QB Campbell is learing a new offense once again and this could set this team back a bit this year...plus I think this team was shocked when Coach Gibbs quit last year when they seemed to be coming together as a team...OC Al Saunders is gone along with DC Gregg Williams...their DB's will be overmatched in this one...plus...the NY crowd will be FIRED UP for the opener...the meetings between these two are usually pretty close...but this one could get out of hand.

Yup my 2 game 6 point teaser came through EASILY...:00hour

my plays were 2-2 for the week...but the Lions cost me my 3 game parlay.

Lesson learned - If you bet on BAD teams you get BAD results.
