I would love to hear some specifics on how superior this is.
I used it for most of the day yesterday and plan on using it almost exclusively for the next week to see how our software applications run on it.
After reading the released comic strip a couple of days ago, the potential seems extremely high. The browser market is long due for a real shake-up. Firefox was not a real change. The simply fixed many of the problems with IE.
But will it really effect more than 20% of internet users? I'm sure the sheep will start going on about the second coming (or third if you count Firefox).
I would love to hear specifically why you feel this browser is superior.
"Pages load faster" does not make something far superior by the way unless you have a piece of shit computer.
My prediction is that this will hurt Firefox WAY more than it hurts IE due to the fact that the people who adopted FF are the same people who will first give Chrome a try. My guess is that in two years if there are no new players (which I doubt there will be), the market share will probably be 60/30/10 for IE/Chrome/FF.
Currently I believe the rough numbers are 80/20 IE/FF.
