Great start off by George Bush and Laura. Talking about the great character of John McCain. The war hero. The adoption of his baby. Aren't these the same people in 2000 when running against McCain, say because of him being a POW he was unstable? Had an affair and has an illegitimate black kid? Who am i supposed to vote for here? Should i believe what they said in 2000 and not now or the other way around? The bullshit got so deep in my house i had to call the sewer company out. Then again this is the party excels in landing the gullible vote. The only thing i agreed with was how they kept saying we have a lot of problems and this election is huge. Who created these problems. Oh and the do nothing congress? How come they won't say that the Republicans are fillibusting everything and anything? Do the people applauding these speeches forget about all this stuff that went on in 2000? I know the rights attention span doesn't go back to far but could they possible have forgotten all of this? Ya just can't make this stuff up.

Sponge, wait until they start talking about family values and trot out Levi to take a bow. A four month old with Downs, pregnant 17 year old daughter, and Rove will try to make Palin out to be the role model for family values. And, just like they bought Bush's National Guard Service they will buy this too. They are already crying about the attacks on the daughter. But I haven't seen any yet? Republicans once again will try to prove that if you say something enough their base will believe iit. Meanwhile, they will put down people who really believe and understand Family Values and proved it by dedicating their lives to their children not their careers.

Is this any different than the Clintons endorsing Obama now?

Or any other bullshit political move?

This is just another reason why the two party system sucks ass!

The difference, as you well know, is that the Republican Party has professed to be the moral, family values, right to life, Christian party of the country. When they have Christian rock singers at their convention, you better believe they are gonna get the toe tappin, prostitutin, teenage pregnancy daugtherin, congressional page lovin, hypocrite attacks.

Hell, we allready know the democrats are blue dress staining, wife cheating, refrigerator freezer dollar packin, scum. At least their honest about it. You gotta respect honest scumbags.

Dawg, the attacks on McCain in 00 were absolutely brutal. I was hoping so bad he could beat Bush in 00 and if he did, that McCain, would no doubt in my mind havve done a better job then Bush did. My problem is that after getting a beat down like that he gets right in bed with the same guys that gave him the beat down. The attacks on Obama by the Clintons were not even close to these attacks on McCain. McCain is a better man then me because there is no way in hell i would have forgiving Bush and his cronies for some of those stunts. Now i have to sit here and listen to Bush tell me what a wonderful fellow McCain is after him and his cronies were leading people to believe he was mentally unstable because of him being a pow. This whole political process is a disgrace. Where the hell is that one strong business leader that says fuk it and wants to run the country? There has to be one out there. You think a guy like that would want the challenge but then again they probably don't want the hassle.

Haskell, the Democrat party has a man who attended a RACIST church for 20 years, can you get a more hypocritical issue than that, surely you don't think a white Republican could pull that off.

JMHO.

Everybody is looking and they are finding stuff.

According to Huffington, "Ed Kalnins, the senior pastor of Wasilla Assembly of God since 1999, offers a provocative and, for some, eyebrow-raising sketch of Palin's longtime spiritual home."

Pastor Kalnins has also preached that critics of President Bush will be banished to hell; questioned whether people who voted for Sen. John Kerry in 2004 would be accepted to heaven; charged that the 9/11 terrorist attacks and war in Iraq were part of a war "contending for your faith;" and said that Jesus "operated from that position of war mode."

There you go. If you voted for Kerry, you don't have a visa to enter heaven.

More quotes from the Pastor:

Berfore the 2004 elections:

"I'm not going tell you who to vote for, but if you vote for this particular person, I question your salvation. I'm sorry." Kalnins added: "If every Christian will vote righteously, it would be a landslide every time."

On Katrina criticism of Bush
"I hate criticisms towards the President," he said, "because it's like criticisms towards the pastor -- it's almost like, it's not going to get you anywhere, you know, except for hell. That's what it'll get you."

My problem is about a candidate attending a RACIST church, and the Liberal media choosing to ignore it, I don't personally attend a church, but i'm sure that most are not RACIST.

Come to think of it, I voted for McCain in the Republican primary in 2000 as well. It was a cross over anti Bush vote.

Cool so after November, I can say with total honesty:

I voted for him before I voted against him.

I am a total flipflopper.

Racist church? I heard eight sentences out of 20 years of sermons:mj07: Seriously you clown, do you ever realize when one blurs your vision, so you can't see the real problems like this 10 trillion dollars of debt pricks like you dropped on the country, with out of control spending and out of control tax breaks to people who are already raking in billions a quarter?

Eddie today for some reason i was wondering where the Jerry Springer show was filmed. I found out that it is filmed in Chicago. Don't you think they would save a lot of money if they filmed it where these people come from? I turned on the televison today and my first three channels went like this. Springer, some pastor with a packed audience, and Fox News. Seem like it was all targeted around the same audience. Were fuked.

I agree and have been saying the same thing for a long time. When the most watched show in this country is American Idol and when the leaders of our government want to cut funding for public broadcasting ( the last frontier of using the medium of television for educational purposes) you know that keeping America stupid is the goal of the Republican Party.

Take a hard look at those people attending the convention. Wayne and Weasel paint them as hard working American patriots. Bullpatties. They are your basic stupid, follow along, choke up when they hear God Bless America crowd, who can only live in a black and white world where there is good and evil, God and the devil, right and wrong, cowboys and indians, heaven and hell, work and play, America and everybody else.

They need hero's. They need to live forever. They cannot accept their own mortality. They will never end. They can't look at themselves without the fantasy's and hero's because they see inadequacies. They can't accept themselves with the inadequacies so the dreams and fantasy's become reality and this justify's anything they do.

Thats why American Idol is #1. Thats why they laugh at the low lifes on Springer. Thats why Fox fills them with confirmation of their beliefs instead of information. Thats why the pastor talks about eternal life with Jesus.

Reality is hard. Looking at yourself is hard. Jesus and fantasy make life easier. I'll take the road less traveled and smell the coffee as it really smells, stale at times, fresh at times, but always real.

Yours in Christ,
Eddie

"Jesus and fantasy make life easier."

Really? Says who? I can't speak for fantasy, but as far as Jesus goes, you may want to use caution with your silver tongue. Your sparkling humor and clever wit is amusing, but when it comes to Jesus Christ, you, my friend, have crossed a line in the sand. You simply have no idea what you are saying.

Anyone with an ounce of common sense is well aware of pastors who are not worthy of the title. Jesus himself gave several warnings in this regard. Matthew 7: 15-16 ~ "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits." Yet, these are the ones that are given the limelight. But someone as intelligent as you should know you can't hold all pastors to this standard.

A word of advice Eddie...don't follow the mulititude to say something stupid. Seek higher ground.

Romans 1:22 ~ "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools."
