1. What are these so called plans???

2. How exactly will these plans be funded???

All I keep hearing is how Obama has plans to fix the economy, get people back to work, tax cuts etc. etc.

But what are they??????

I have watched both conventions but have not really seen any concrete plans from either side and although the Dems keep ripping the Reps on not having any plans to fix anything , I have yet to see anything but talk from the Democratic side.

The Reps dont really seem to have any great ideas either but they are not the ones promoting the ideas of fixing the problems......

It is just laughable. Neither side provides details, yet both sides accuse the other of "no substance." The only detail I have gotten from Obama is he is going to raise my taxes. I have no details from McCain. I really wish there were real journalists out there that would tell all of these pundits and spinnners they are FOS

Well, lets take a look around us.10 trillion national debt and not one damn thing better in this country, but Iraq gets a trillion of your grandkids tax money.Don't you think that if we the PEOPLE of this country had a trillion spent in this country or the trillions of dollars that is missing at the pentagon since BUSH/CHENEY took office or hell ,lets spend 10 trillion here at home, what the fulk,at least it would be here.Sick of nation building or going to war for corporations.Cut out foreign aid passing out billions like its candy.
The new world order is coming, laugh if you like, but its coming.Dems or Repub,it doesn't matter, the power is not with them.
BANKS AND BANKERS,the fed,Bilderberg group, just to mention one of serveral groups that are the real power.I'm 60 so I probably want see the beginning of the end of this country.
North American Union,open borders,new currency,its coming .
While you sleep the owners of this country are selling out to the highest bidder.Remember that ROME fell, not that long ago the soviet union broke apart ,what makes you think that this country can stand with the sob's that are running things. The Bible has no mention of the UNITED STATES at the end of time, just saying,if you believe in the Bible.
Another rant from a disenfranchised voter.

Good statement, all we here is how the Dems favor welfare and giving people of the poor handouts, but nowhere do the repubs on this board mention that we are giving handout currently but its all going to foreign countries, guess its better to give the money away over seas then give it to the people of the country. Say it how they want but atleast the COUNTRY would benefit if it were handed out here at home.

You have to look past poitical promises on both sides and see if actions confirm the rhetoric.

One issue pork spending.

Both similiar promises.

One has solicited 0 pork for his state

the other --
The nonpartisan Taxpayers for Common Sense calculates that Obama secured almost $100 million in pork for Illinois this fiscal year.

While this does not bode well for Obama--it does dispell any myth about him being Muslim-- from liking pork standpoint :)

The Republicans are advocating change but they do not say what. They say they are going to lower taxes, run at least two wars, and balance a budget. The only change I see offered by them is Palin promising to parents of Special Needs Children a Republican friend in Washington. Now, that would be a change.

Good point.

Palin is quickly proving to be an expert at condescension and pretending that rural people are morally superior people to those who live in cities and suburbs. The Democrats should now be on notice that the McCain-Palin idea of "change" is to run the Nixon playbook.

My personal favorite part of the night was when Giuliani attacked Obama's single-parent upbringing as "elite." I guess when a speaker knows they are in front of a crowd of drones who will cheer their every word, it's easy to spew the real garbage.

Palin's charade as the loving Mom evaporated last night, and revealed a spiteful and divisive culture warrior. That's not change. That's the same filth that Rush Limbaugh has been spewing for the past 20 years. I love our country, but this "good guy vs bad guy" mentality from both parties is leading us on a path to nowhere fast.

But on the bright side, can't wait for Air Force One to be put on EBay in January!!!
