Really like this game and like Ball St. a lot. They have a great offense and will have no problem at all picking Navy a part through the air. Ball St QB Nate Davis is very very good. He is a big time QB and has shattered the Ball St record book for passing last year, his Sophomore year! Dante Love is his favorite target and Love is a big time WR. If that isnt enough for you, they have a very solid RB Miquale Lewis who can get the job done and ran for 161 yards on Navy last year!
Navy WILL NOT be able to stop Ball St on offense. Period.
If Navy covers this game, they will have to match Ball St. score for score and I really dont think they can do that.
I think Navy will be able to score some points but the gameplan to stop Navy should be fairly easy! First of all, Navy is missing their star QB, not even making the trip to Ball St. Their QB is actually going to be a RB! Everyone knows Navy runs so Ball St. will be packing the box on 1st and 2nd down and forcing errors on 3rd down. I think Ball St will be able to force some turnovers and capitalize. Ball St should be able to handle the Navy rush as they have a solid defense that is being overlooked.
Ball St. won last years meeting @ Navy 34-31 in OT...Kaipo-Noa was a big factor in that game scoring 2 TD on the ground and going for 116 yards.
I know Navy may have looked impressive last week running all over Towson, but keep this in mind.....last year Towson had the 76th ranked rush D in the 116 team FCS
And finally, to show you how bad the Navy pass D actually is....last year Towson was ranked 101st in the FCS in total offense. They were able to pass for 330 yards last week vrs Navy! Davis is going to pick them a part and have a HUGE night!
I am thinking of also making a fairly large prop bet on Nate Davis OVER 2.5 passing touchdowns at +120!!:scared
