Northwestern -6 over Duke - Payback time for the Mildcats. Even though the weather could get interesting for this one, I like the Midwestern smart kids to show more athleticism than the Atlantic Coast smart kids.

Nevada/Texas Tech over 68
- I grabbed this at 67, but with these two teams who cares what the number is...

West Virginia -7 over ECU - The weather bothers me here too, but the Mountaineers will just keep it on the ground much like Northwestern will. This line is a serious overreaction to the ECU victory last week over a hapless Hokie crew.

Southern Miss/Auburn under 46.5 - When was the last time you saw a team score 51 points one week and get shutout the next? So. Miss might do it. This line opened at 43 and folks are having another brain freeze after last week's game. Auburn will be content to win this one about 30-3.

Wisconsin -20.5 over Marshall - I don't expect the Badgers to have meltdowns like they did last week against the Zips. They dominated but made some dumb moves along the way. They should be much sharper in week two.

Waiting for a couple of Dogs to possibly get a little higher. I'll post a few more later tonight or early tomorrow.

I thought there might be some more line movement in my favor on a few, but that just isn't happening. In the meantime, I am playing far too many overs and laying way too much chalk this week.

Eastern Michigan/Michigan State over 56 - This did drop for me so I feel pretty comfortable. Both teams should be able to pile up points today. The weather in Michigan is perfect...or at least as perfect as it gets in a place like East Lansing...so look for Sparty to roll in this one and put up big numbers to erase last week's debacle.

Michigan State -21 over EMU - See above...might as well run a two team parlay on this too, Robert Hill....I know you're watching.

Pittsburgh -13.5 over Buffalo - Two things are very odd about this small line. First, this is the same line that Pitt had last week against the BEST team in the MAC. The Bisons are no BG...Spang & Falcon please fill in this spot with your own Buffalo Gals comment...Thank you. Secondly, even though BG won, the Panthers rolled up about 400 yards of total offense but imploded after that first quarter. They have the chance for a bit of redemption today and could put up big numbers too.

Pitt over 30 (team total) - While they roll up about 500 yards, I don't see them turning it over this week either.

Good point...I kind of went ahead...and...um overstated that one for effect. However, there is a definite gap between the top teams and the bottom feeders in the MAC, and that gap is apparent between BG and Buffalo.

Nice movie reference though.

You mean like "Here is a picture of some Buffalo girls tailgating?"

I was hoping this line would get to 24 but...

Miami +23 over Florida - Florida is possibly the best team in the nation but nobody should be laying that type of number with those types of athletes on the field. I think the Canes will be inspired enough to keep it close...especially since the Boosters should take care of them quite nicely if they pull off a big one!

Notre Dame -21.5 over Some West Coast Team - Charlie won't be that bad this year and I look for him to prove a point today.

For anyone watching the Sparty game (and i know there can't be many of you) it is fairly evident that the EMU staff played the under since they just kicked a field goal on fourth and goal down by 35.
