NFL season is upon us....lets have a blast.....for me, i always have roller coaster NFL seasons.....so buckle in a be warned. Here's what I have for Opening Day.
Tenn +3 over Jax. Taking the home dog here, Titans on a 14-7 ATS run catching points.
Pitt/Hstn O43. In the Big Ben era, the Over in Steeler home games is 24-9-1. The total seems 'highish' for a Steeler game, but I'll risk a unit here that Heniz Field will a Field of Overs again.
Buffalo -1 over Seattle. Bills are 20-12 ATS at home since 2004.
Miami +3 over the Jets. Fell in love w/ the stat in AR's thread about the teams who have gone 1-15 the season before went 6-0 SUATS in their opener the following year. I will still take the points, the Dolphins 0-9-1 ats streak vs the Jets be damned. We'll be talking more about Ricky Williams tomorrow than Brett Favre.
Detriot -3 over Atl. Just to make it five plays. Probably a sucker bet, but I do think the Lions will contend this year for a playoff spot. Atlanta will not. Martz leaving will be addition by subraction for the Lions. Believe it or not, but the Lions have a pretty talented roster. They spoil Ryan's debut.
Good luck!! :weed:
