MSNBC is a complete joke, they show amazing bias. Olberman just attacked ORiley every night thinking anyone cared about his opinions. They got clobbered in the ratings due to their biased reporters.

Like the article said, to think Olberman was different than sending Oriely was really just laughable. Having said that i could care less if your right or left, but fox and msnbc claiming to not be partisan is :mj07: X2

I try and equally rip on everyone, and Fox is reallyy bad, but seriously...it is unfair to Fox (did I say that?) to compare them to MSNBC. MSNBC was in a whole different level of partisanship

If this is true they got droped by network. Its a bold step. Even tho Olbermann ratings have been going up. In younger crowd 18 to 28 he was even with O'Rilley. Talking about O' Rilley and that little chit Hannity. Would be nice if Fox had some balls to and drop them. Hannity forsure must take his white rope and sheet off everynight to do his show.

Although he is a puss at least Fox has Colmes opposite Hannity, and there are guys like Juan Williams and Krauthammer is a lifelong Dem., and so on. All MSNBC has is Buchanon and he isnt even a Republican any longer.

And while Olberman's viewers are up the ratings as compared to the competition arent up at all - there are simply more viewers all around. I doubt hardly any 18-28 folks ever watched O Reilly

Levels may or may not be the same, but one thing is for sure, as a whole these stations have agendas that are on opposite sides of the isle.

I don't see anything wrong with Olbermann keeping Fox honest. Two Three times a week he catches Hannity or O'Rilley. That's a good idea we don't want all of us to drink the kool aid.
Once 18 to 28, now 30??? And still not smart enoug to go independent.

Now let's see of Fox cleans up their act.

Have you seen fox's ratings? Why would they do that? The only one who is blatantly bias is Hannity and they put the dorky democrat on there to counteract him.

MSNBC has gotten absolutely demolished in the ratings for years, to make matters worst everyone was on them for being unfair. They had to make a change.

Even democrats were coming on fox saying they were the most fair during the primary and election.

you should know what you will see when you tune into cnn,fox and msnbc.... I love olbermann & o'reilly, watch them both, news with a spin from both sides, political junky entertainment... the one thing fox never did was put bill in the anchor chair..msnbc should have never put keith & chris there ....the million dollar question is : if msnbc is so biased from the top on down, why did they make this change now, right before the election ???? this is another clear example of how the left and right are not that different when corporate interest rule over all else... msnbc wanted the public to think they fired don imus for what he said about rutgers woman and the pressure they received from light weights like sharpton.... WHERE DOES THE REAL PRESSURE COME FROM TO MAKE THESE MOVES & FEED US THE DAY TO DAY TRASH AND 1/2 TRUTHS WE SEE ON (ALL) NEWS SHOWS ????? It all comes back to the way the masses are educated in this country. The one thing Rush is right about, most Americans have minds full of mush...People like him and net works like cnn,fox & msnbc know that and exploit it for their corporate partners... The founding father couldn't invision the state of the minds or the apathy of the people... They couldn't invision government, corporate interest & the news agencies walking every step together against the interest of the American People. It's all orcrastrated.... We have to stop thinking about the left & right... It's has to be us against them.... They are winning !

this move had nothing to do with ratings.... olberman's show has the best ratings of any show in the history of msnbc.. If they want ratings, he's the best they have.

MSNBC's "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" beat Fox News' "The O'Reilly Factor" in the key Adults 25-54 demographic for the first time ever last week.

"Countdown" averaged 477,000 viewers (A25-54) vs. O'Reilly's 472,000 (excluding Tuesday's primary coverage). This marks the first time that MSNBC has beaten Fox News in O'Reilly's 8pm time slot since June 2001.

He beat him for that certain demographic .. no where in there does it say he beat him for the total # of viewers. Anyway one win in like 2000 shows .. congrats
