Going to ride the same team again:

Saints pk....Skins are going to be a great go against all year.

Wish I took the Eagles +9 when I saw that line early last night, then thought I was just being a homer, but based on the line drop to -6.5 I'm kicking myself at missing an easy middle.

i think the game could go either way, the points are too much to pass up.

After everyone seeing the Eagles dismantle the SCRAMS I would think the world would love 9 points, this is a double digit victory for Dallas, Eagles got a TERRIBLE Rams team at home and took advantage of them, now they go on the road as Dallas comes home for the home opener, Im willing to bet Jaskson and Baskett wont be running down the field wide open this week. Dallas pushes this small defense around with the O line and 4th quarter tells the tale of the game with Dallas pulling away.JMO

Truer words could not be spoken.

As I said a bet against the Cowboys is

Philly won't be as "tough" as Cleveland. Cleveland was a better team last year and may be again this year, also Cleveland had HF advantage. The best bet on this game remains the under though. Better defenses than their opponents last week and BOTH games went under. 47 points is a gift, a REAL gift.

Eagles 7
Cowboys 35

Sorry to mess up your thread Blackman, I do think the under is worth jumping on though. Best of luck to you let me know if you want an apparel/hat bet I'll give you a TD.

Don't let your NFC East/Philadelphia partisanship cost you money. Trust me, this wont be a great go against for long. And it wouldnt surprise me if they romp the Saints this week.

Blackman is right. The Deadskins are the worst team in the NFC East this year. They have no chance against the Aints this year.

One team wins in a dramatic victory at home and is supposed to push for a championship this year. One loses in what is perceived as a horrible loss on the road.

And the loser, +1pt at home. This could easily be NO -3 to -5 pts...

Blackman, not trying to hijack your thread just opening this up for discussion among some NFC East fans here.

Cheers!

No problem at all, it's encouraged and appreciated.

I think the Skins have some talent, but this is a bad matchup personel wise, and I don't see this brand new coaching staff overcoming that. Maybe I'll be wrong, seems to happen enough. :142smilie

Good luck

look, i don't think that the brownies are very special either. their def is utter crap as usual. now dallas did what they were supposed to do, but how is philly's victory so easily overlooked ?

i just think that 7 is a valuabled number, but i may be wrong. won't be the first time......

Not picking on you Elvis I just find your questions easy to answer, the NATIONAL TALKING HEADS may not overlook the Eagles win, but myself I do because the RAMS stink and will be lucky to win 7-8 games this year, the Eagles manhandled the Rams offensive and Defensive lines this past weekend...wont be that easy against the Cowboys, McNabb went virtually untouched versus the Rams...the Cowbboys will get to him and keep pressure on him due to the fact that the corners they have shold have no problems with Baskett and Jackson going man 2 man or zone coverage...which should allow the Cowboys to send more after McNabb. If memory serves me the Eagles threw the ball all over the Rams lastyear as well, so them looking sharp was impressive as they didnt miss an opportunity but the opportunities were plentiful. Now Cleveland didnt look good either but if they were to line up against the Rams I would be willing AS OF NOW to give the Rams a TD atleast and feel good covering it, bad part is this new coach for the Rams is supposed to be a defensive coach and they looked LOST on defense as well as offense, not one area of the game did they look like they had a gameplan. This Monday night should be a fun one....I AM GOING TO ENJOY IT IMMENSELY, HEADED TO DALLAS SATURDAY TO SEE IT AT TEXAS STADIUM, as long as IKE(hurricane) doesnt kink the plans!!!
And in the Skins Saints game....something tells me take the Skins, that line looks awfully funny, maybe thats one to steer clear of, best of luck on the plays this weekend fellas.

7-8 games can make the playoffs in a bad year

Personally I don't like any of these games. Reggie still can't run for dick and now Colston is out. They struggled when the Bucs put the clamp down and had to rely on 2 very big plays to pull it out. I won but was not convinced. On the flip side the Redksin looked terrible but still were close near the end. No bet

Cowboys-Eagles? God only knows. I try and avoid MNF like the plague so I'll just sit back and enjoy this one

Have to give the Skins credit, they played tough and looked very balanced on offense.

Playing a 2h -- give me Seahawks -1.5

Good luck
