They impressed the hell out of me last week. They physically dominated West Virginia in every phase of the game.

Now they are laying 14 at Tulane....did they blow their wad or are they the real deal?

I didn't see a whole lot of weaknesses last week...however, the jury is still out on my alma mater. :)

My 1st thought is to take Tulane and the points.....but, I may just pass.

but, I may just pass.

when i was younger i had a "capping guru" who believed that people will go broke betting road favorites, especially dd ones...so i very rarely will play a road favorite...& if i do it has to be a low number...similiar to tex. a & m last week.

hoever i know a very good capper who is taking e. carolina & i respect his capping ability so i try not to go against him...however pinnacle dropped the line to 12.5 this afternoon.....

i am passing on this game

good luck with whatever you decide...

Just to echo, if you look at the Box Score from the Tulane vs Bama game, the Green Wave have some real positive attributes. They had a 13 minute advantage in time of possesion, held Bama to 3 for 11 on 3rd down, and only gave up 73 yards passing. Bama only did score on TD on offense afterall.

Tulane as a home dog would look great getting 14, but are up against a team that is hot as a firecracker. I'll pass as well, there are better places to take a shot.

I'm hoping they win but don't cover so I can keep fading them ATS for the rest of the year.

Its one of those games where there are compelling arguments that can be made for both sides. I may side with some others though in saying that an ECU letdown is imminent, but when?

Over the years I have found that the habit of laying double digits on the road is not a desireable practice. I'll pass this one but hope that ECU keeps it going.

NC State (no cover) gets mangled up by Clemson.

ECU rolls (covers) over Tulane.

ECU's party is over at NC State the following week. :sadwave:

I am on Tulane and am always on the large home dog in this particular situation. I may lose this one, but feel comfortable that I will continue to cash in this spot more often than not.
