Here's fridays morning liberal media gaffe in advance-- was on speach to troops including her son leaving for Iraq--none the less. ;)

Here are the headline and the first two paragraphs from an article posted online that apparently will be on the front page of Friday's Washington Post:

"Palin Links Iraq to 9/11, A View Discarded by Bush"
By Anne E. Kornblut
Washington Post Staff Writer
Friday, September 12, 2008; A01

FORT WAINWRIGHT, Alaska, Sept. 11 -- Gov. Sarah Palin linked the war in Iraq with the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, telling an Iraq-bound brigade of soldiers that included her son that they would "defend the innocent from the enemies who planned and carried out and rejoiced in the death of thousands of Americans."

The idea that Iraq shared responsibility with al-Qaeda for the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, once promoted by Bush administration officials, has since been rejected even by the president himself. On any other day, Palin's statement would almost certainly have drawn a sharp rebuke from Democrats, but both parties had declared a halt to partisan activities to mark Thursday's anniversary."

Kornblut's interpretation of what Palin said is either stupid or malicious. Palin is evidently saying that American soldiers are going to Iraq to defend innocent Iraqis from al Qaeda in Iraq, a group that is related to al Qaeda, which did plan and carry out the Sept. 11 attacks. It makes no sense for Kornblut to claim that Palin is arguing here that Saddam Hussein's regime carried out 9/11--obviously Palin isn't saying that our soldiers are now going over to Iraq to fight Saddam's regime. Palin isn't linking Saddam to 9/11.

THis thread is a joke. Half of the shit you guys post in here is from far left wing blogs. No one i repeat NO ONE cares about it. The people who read it are already voting Dems, the other people don't believe it. Go to a neutral or non partisan site and find info. Amazing how worried the dems are over Palin. Obamas campaign sent 20 lawyers over to Alaska to investigate and hopefully find something on her. The Enquirer sent 5 reporters there to dig up crap as well. Just lame. :142smilie The more you belittle Palin, the more the republicans move up in the ratings. So keep on throwing undocumented facts out there..

Sort of like Obama commenting on the Iraqi war, and what he would do if he were president before ever visiting Iraq, or meeting with any of the leaders like General Peatrus. :SIB

This thread makes me sick.

Sadly, this election boils down to two EXTREMELY bad choices. Clearly, the two party system is flawed.

FOX News is about as impartial as CNBC. There is no real good place to get any "real" information unless you want to research actual facts, figures, etc. without resorting to the media.

KIll this thread, Stop calling each other names and do some real research. I'm still doing mine...don't follow the mindless media drivel.:director:

Also Friday, McCain said in a television interview that Palin has never asked for money for lawmakers' pet projects as Alaska governor. However, records show she has sought nearly $200 million in earmarks this year.

Palin's climate remarks conflict with past views
....................................................................

This thread was about lies.

And the lies continue from both ends of McCain / Palin

Obama didn't need one for kenya --until he was 21 as he was citizen--
--and believe he's the one running for pres

How ever you get get point on o's qualifications--he has a passport. :)

Kenyan Constitution prohibits dual citizenship for adults. Kenya recognizes dual citizenship for children, but Kenya's Constitution specifies that at age 21, Kenyan citizens who possesses citizenship in more than one country automatically lose their Kenyan citizenship unless they formally renounce any non-Kenyan citizenship and swear an oath of allegiance to Kenya.

Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4,1982.
