Week 3 Card (Sept 11th-13th)

UConn (-11) over UVA
I think this is a hidden gem in this weeks card. I was looking over the lines for a play that was not sexy but would be a good payoff. Look at UConn last week, at Temple they could not have had a poor outcome from their QB. He is a good QB and he played like it was his first day in pads. Numerous picks, a fumble going into the endzone and countless poor throws. At home it should be a different story. Then there is UVA after getting slammedc by USC at home they held a small lead against Richmond for the majority of the game until the end. Richmond, they are scrappers but UVA could not put the ball in the endzone. The huskies have a lot to prove and with giving 11 at home I think UConn is a far better team than UVA. No Dixon for UConn but really is that a problem with Brown there? The huskies should have running room a plenty considering the trojans ran at will against the cavs. UVA just does not have the playmakers to help that offense and the defense lost way to much to stop the huskie run and pass. This week unlike last UConn takes advantage in the air when UVA 3 down lineman start getting pushed off the ball. The Cavs will HAVE to committ LB's to stopping the run and then play action will burn them in the middle of the field to TE's and deep when the safeties bite on the run fake.
