What would have happened if all of you were on Cleveland? Would there be a thread on how great Romeo is? Getting "screwed" in the NFL is just the nature of the beast. Kicking the field goal was neither a right nor wrong call. It was just judgment.

I was on Cleveland and i agree completely with all the guys complaining. It was a bullshit call and it was all about covering the spread because when Pitt had the chance to kick the fgoal at the end of the game a chip shot i might add, they didn't, again to keep the spread put. Why didn't pitt kick the field Goal? A child should be able to see what went on with this game. I bet Cleveland and these Pitt bettors got screwed royally. Stop blaming these fellas very legit reasons on their bet. They got punked just like the Chargers did. and if Pitt would have broke one in that last drive the flag would have been out faster then a Nascar race.

It was extremely poor judgment, if another field goal would have tied or gave Cleveland the lead, it would have been a judgment call. Cleveland still needed a touchdown, and couldn't pass all night.

First off it wasn't 4 minutes, it was 3:24. Cleveland had already burned a timeout, only having 2 left. as layin wood pointed out, 3 points did nothing, they were still down 4 needing another touchdown anyway.

imo the above are the reasons why it was a bad decision.....

Screwed with Romeo & that was after getting screwed with the Chargers. Parlay territory, too.
Guess it's best to have it all happen at once (not that there is any guarantee that it won't happen again next week !)

Romeo is one of the WORST coaches in the league. If you watch Browns games you know exactly what I'm talking about.Hell the guy went for a FG the week before against Dallas down 21 with 9:00 minutes to go in the 4th qtr instead of going for it and it was 4th and 4 I believe....SPONGE is exactly right, there is no way Pitt was going to cover that spread...

Crennel should be fired but won't.Guy has no idea how to manage a team or compromise a game plan.Everything is dictated to him.

Once it was 4th and 7, I think the FG was the right call. There was nearly 4 minutes and all they had to do was stop Pitt. They couldn't stop them. IF THEY DID and got the ball back in decent field position then everyone would be talking about what a good decision it was.

Sour grapes from people who lost their bets.

i didn`t lose a thing......they went 56 minutes and 40 seconds scoring 3 points....what made anybody think they`d get back down field, much less get the ball back with 3:20 left on the clock?....

and please explain what good that 3 did?....if my math`s correct, they still needed a t.d.......

sheesh...

crenel`s out of his depth in a parking lot puddle...

Well, IF they would have stopped Pit and got the ball - the TD they still needed would have given them the lead rather than just the tie. So the 3 pts COULD have been important.

Look, I aint saying it was a genius move - BUT can understand why doing it on 4th and 7.

41 yard chipshot in the wind. ok, whatever:rolleyes:

Oh then why did Cleveland kick theirs? Was the wind different? Don't you think if they went for it on fourth down and didn't get it at least they had Pitt pinned back at the twenty instead of kicking it again and wasting time trying to stop them on the kickoff?
