Don't look now, but I'm 3-0 this year. I guess that means the apocalypse is upon us. If I were you, I would take some equity out of your home and load up on the teams I'm going against. I would recommend locking in a 30-year rate while rates are still low. :SIB

ASU +7 and ML (+240) - I know, I know, I'm either going to look like a genius after this one, or a fool. Ok, genius was a little bit strong. How about, NOT a fool? Anway, I think people are making a bit too much of the ASU loss last week. Was it ugly? Absolutely. But it was a classic lookahead game, and they didn't show up. Any, and I mean ANY good team can lose to a poor team if they aren't mentally focused. That's what happened to ASU. Nothing more, nothing less.

As for the game, I just don't see GA coming in to Tempe and taking the game over. I think this will be a close game, and I think both teams will put up some points. Ultimately, I think ASU wins this game upfront. I don't think GA will be able to get to Carpenter (I'm not impressed with their D-line), and because of that I think he will be able to dice up the GA secondary. I also love the fact that this is a nationally televised home game against the #3 team in the country for ASU. Unlike last week, they will be ready.

Toledo +7 & ML (+240) - Funny thing is, I didn't realize until just now that I have the exact same bets on ASU and Toledo. Right down to the payout on the ML.

Not a ton of analysis on this one. I just think Fresno will be flat after losing that big game at home to Wisky. They probably think this is an easy W, but I think they will have their hands full today. This is a big game for Toledo because a win against FSU gets a little more attention than, say, Miami-Ohio.

Lean - Florida State (-5) - I like this Seminoles team a lot. They finally got a clue and put Weatherturd on the bench, and that makes them a much better team. This is another game that a lot of people will be watching and I think FSU makes a statement tonight.

One last play. I hardly ever do parlays, but given the odds on this one I gave it a shot...

ASU ML
Toledo ML
SJSU + 7'

$40 to win $756

Bender - Wow, that's a nice looking prop bet. That number seems low to me. I think ASU airs it out tonight and was thinking Carpenter will get over 300.

Blackman - Thanks. GL with your plays!

Sorry to anyone who may have tailed these games. Both ASU and Toledo look horrible. I'm especially surprised by ASU. I just didn't see them laying an egg 2 weeks in a row. You really have to question their heart when they're not able to get up for the #3 team in the country, especially after an embarrassing loss at home to UNLV.

Even my lean, Florida State looks awful. :mj07: Still a ways to go, but the odds are certainly stacked against me at this point.

Miserable night. I couldn't have been more wrong about the ASU game. Congrats to everyone who had GA. They simply dominated the game.

Toledo looked good for a while in their game, but then remembered they are Toledo.

Looking like an 0-5 total (including MLs & parlay). Outside shot at 1-4, but it looks like Fresno has taken that game over so I'm not holding my breath.

GL next week all...
