atl.-5(120)....

since i had tb last week i watched the atl/tb game & came away impressed with the intensity of the falcons. in the first half ryan was very confused by the tb defense...but as the game went on i thought atl. outplayed tb until the tb back broke off a long run to seal the tb win/cover.

as far this game is concerned...the falcon running attack have combined for 373 yr & at 6.6 ypc in the first 2 games.....last year the kc defense ranked 28th against the run & gave up 300yr last week to oakland. on the other side of the ball, kc is now down to their 3rd string qb making his first start on the road, have scored a total of 18 points in their 2 games combined & have lost 11 in a row....& i think it is a tossup between kiffen & edwards as to who gets fired first this year...

good luck

"the bunker"
i think thiss boils down to johnson vs turner/jerius norwood....

and i tend to lean to the latter......curious to see how many yards they rack up on the ground this week....i`m betting they rack up alot of yardage....

..may tease em with somebody...don`t trust `em laying points just yet...

thanks guys....appreciate it...

giants-13....

this is the 3rd game in a row that the bengals are playing against a physical team & giants are playing with a chip on their shoulder....with the poor bengals off. line play, i think cin.'s offense will be under a lot of pressure by the giants defense who is allowing 76 rushing yards per game. on offense the giants are averaging 6.1 ypr....& i just think the giants will wear cin. down as the game progresses.....i also think the giants want to go into their bye with a dominating performance...

here are some trends....

giants are 10-1 ats after alowing less than 90 yards rushing

giants are: 10-0 ats home off dd ats win & score 35 or more.

giants are 12-1-2 ats l15 going back to last year (post season & preseaon included)

good luck

dallas is 13-22 ats over the years as an away favorite....

dallas 5-12 ats as a non-divisional road favorite.....

s.f.-4.....

i think this is a game between 2 teams heading in different directions.in the first game sf dominated arizona in yardage but lost because of 5 turnovers....then last week they upset the seahawks on the road.they run the ball very well averaging 4.8 ypr & it looks like they can throw the ball better this year averaging 9.9 yds per pass attempt. on defense sf has played the pass very well because so far this year they are allowing only 5.1 yds per pass attempt...the detroit organization is a mess...there were reports that there was fighting on the detroit sideline during the atlanta game. on offense detroit is averaging only 3.4 ypr & eventhough they have quality receivers their passing attack has only been average so far this year, with kitna throwing alot of ints.detroit?s defense is playing poorly so far this year as they have given up 9.2 yards per play to atlanta and then gave up 6.7 yppl to g.b...

there are about an equal amount of trends pro & against each team...i'll take the team who can run the ball better...

good luck

That I can confirm...I watched the game. Seemed to me that Kitna just wanted to throw, throw, throw the ball and was really steamed at his co-ordinator for trying to run the ball...
...and burnt 2 TO's going to the sidelines to tell him so!
Funny thing that during this 'argument' they had 3 or 4 big pass plays then scored on a 10 yard run! :mj07:

League: 1-10 (Av.. loss 11.8) any road game where the total is 42.5+ off a 14+ ats loss as home dog with <26 mins TOP. [Det]

The only thing that is scaring me off this one is that there will be turnovers.
Detroit could have easily beaten a solid Pack last week before Kitna's last 3 throws!
Gore should have a monster but likely to give one up at some point...

I do believe you're on the right side, ar...but I still feel like I need to wish you luck! :toast: :142smilie
