Where it is real F ing COLD
Well the Vikings defense did a great job last week and Frerotte was good enough to get the job done. Now this week the Vikes travel to Tennessee. The Titans are 3 - 0 and I was shocked that they are only 3 point favorites. Most people predictions seem to be in favor of the Titans at home...

This game is going to be a smash mouth, physical and intense football game. Choosing the winner is very difficult. Both teams rely on defense and the ability to run the football. Very similar teams.

The Titans have come off beating the Texans and Bengals in the last 2 games.. These teams had multiple chances to be in the game but turned the ball over in critical spots.. I don't think the Titans have played a team as physical as the Vikes this year and the Vikes beat a similar team last week in the Panthers. I think the Vikes are the more desperate and hungry team.. The Vikes road record does scare me, but I take Peterson and Taylor over White and Johnson..

Vikes 16 Titans 10

Homer analysis perhaps?

Tennessee are dominant right now and at home, I don't mind giving up points to Gus Ferrotte

Titans by a TD and I'll certainly be playing this game

I listened to my buddy do his show on on the Nashville station this morning. Vince Young is not doing himself any favors! What a dope he turned out to be (guess that Wunderlic test is accurate after all).

Collins has been hot for the Titans, but knowing his past history, he's due to suck. I kinda agree on the Vikes in this spot.

I picked the Vikings to lose two out of the first 3 games.... Also Tennessee dominant against texans and bengals despite the stats being even.. Teams shot themselves in the foot.. '

Bengal game: Blocked punt for td in end zone, Palmer greatly underthrew a TD to TJ who was wide open..

Texans had two dropped TDs by Johnson, Int returned for TD by Texans at 2 yard line..

Slaton for Texas had 118 yds rushing last week.. AP and Taylor??

Just to let you know I don't bet the Viking games unless I think they will win big.. I can't root against them and then it is a double burn if I lose money on them as well. Oh and I hate the feeling of being pist at them when they win and don't cover.. Takes the fun out of it.

A very hard game to cap. I decided to use a process of elimination to see where the edge is...

IMHO
-The Qb's are a wash no real advantage either way. Niether are game changers and both are fairly immobile.
-Slight advantage in the passing game to Minny. Rice is still questionable, but with him they have a slight edge.
-Slight advantage to Vikes in the Run game as well. AP is very talented but isnt a whole lot more lethal than the Titans combo. I see the Vikes O-line to be a bit stronger.
-D-line is essentially a wash for me. I would rank them 1 and 2 in the league.
-Where I see the Titans getting their first edge, is in the defensive secondary. In my view this is not a slight advantage but a huge one. Finnegan and Harper are great defenders of the pass and can tackle very well. This eliminates any pass advantage the Vikes may have had. This is also how I predict Ten to have 2 maybe 3 int's. Everyone knows turnovers are huge, especially in low scoring games.

I might also argue the Titans have a special teams advantage + they are @ home.

Ten 23 Min 16

Antoine Winfield Vikes DB is awesome.. AP is much more lethal than their backs...
