How was that debate for you? Oh yeah, and thanks for the 11 trillion dollar debt. I know you don't have any children, like IO, go figure, but some of us care about the future. Global warming is nonsense, the world is flat, dinosaurs are 5,000 years old (just ask sarah palin), Iraq was going to attack us and we are winning the occupation, the economy is great, the glass is half full..........

it is possible that you guys are not so smart.

JW, perhaps it's just that they're the "sensitive" type...

Startle Response Linked to Politics
More Sensitive May Mean More Conservative, Study Finds

Washington Post
Friday, September 19, 2008

People who startle easily in response to threatening images or loud sounds seem to have a biological predisposition to adopt conservative political positions on many hot-button issues, according to unusual new research published yesterday.

The finding suggests that people who are particularly sensitive to signals of visual or auditory threats also tend to adopt a more defensive stance on political issues, such as immigration, gun control, defense spending and patriotism. People who are less sensitive to potential threats, by contrast, seem predisposed to hold more liberal positions on those issues.

Realy? Its the most viewed source on net and if you look at their sources below --looks pretty balanced to me--of course you find it amusing in comparing it with the liberal media--you might also note the sheer volumns of votes on debate--probably more than msnbc has viewers --now that is :mj07:

Who are them people :142smilie

The Drudge report :142smilie

McCain looked awful

What is Drudge Report??

DRUDGE REPORT WAS VIEWED 36,682,486 TIMES IN PAST 24 HOURS.. THE MOST VIEWED DAY IN THE SITE'S 9 1/2 YEAR HISTORY...

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/1580164/Matt-Drudge-world's-most-powerful-journalist.html

Matt Drudge: world's most powerful journalist

Today, the Drudge Report attracts more than 600 million visits a month. With an old-fashioned typeface, Drudge primarily links to stories, though he still breaks news using his trademark flashing siren over a banner headline.

So much internet traffic can be directed to an item linked to by Drudge that unprepared websites have been known to collapse under the strain.

Now you know who drudge is--:)

Yeah, right. It's the same crazed liberal-hating group of neocons going to the site 1200 times a month, and you're one of 'em.
Btw... these sites pad their numbers. Shocking, I know.

I'm just putting up the facts Stevie--will leave the opinion to you all --as usual. :)
Fact is that he is a Bush loving POS. The sites you usually get your "facts" from are tainted. Figures don't lie but liars can figure. As usual your guys were wrong about the economy. Just two weeks ago Old Man McCain said the the economy was ok. Oh and maybe you, McCain or Drudge can explain how McCain can cut the deficit while spending 10 billion a month in Iraq?:0corn

tally update--

{{{{DRUDGE POLL}}}} WHO WON THE FIRST PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE?...

MCCAIN

68% 254,225
OBAMA

30% 112,193
NEITHER

3% 9,407

Total Votes: 375,825

To stay fair and balnaced we have AP withbig news pointing out

CNN reporting it telephoned 524 people they selected and got Obama 51 % Mac 38%

CBS poll 39% O/ 24% Mac/37% tie
again around 500 polled

Would assume msnbc would have had huge O vote also but probably couldn't find enough viewers to fill the 500 polled quota. :)

dude, are you really this fvcking stupid? Do you have any fvcking idea about statistics and what a representative sample is?

A CBS News instant poll finds:

40% of uncommitted voters who watched the debate tonight thought Barack Obama was the winner. 22% thought John McCain won. 38% saw it as a draw.

btw, the Wall Street Journal, NY Times, Washington Post, etc.... all back up these numbers. I will post them all for you, just ask.
