First, I don't know what party affiliation he has.

What is the overall opinion on him? I like how available he has been on CNBC to speak frankly (pun intended) about the bailout situation.

He seems decent, but I'm sure he has just as much (or possibly more) political history (read: lying, cheating, stealing) as the rest of them...

He strikes me as being drunk alot of the time, but he isnt too bad.

He is very frank.

He is from Mass, a Jew & openly gay.

He is a strong supporter civil right issues.

He has been very critical of the Fed Reserve.

He strongly supports online gambling rights & hated the Frist bill.

Stevie i always liked him. He seem like a straight up guy. i was surprised when i saw people writing bad about him. Then i realize these are all Fox News watchers bringing up this stuff so i have to go look myself to see if it is true. You know with these simpletons if Fox said it is true then it must be. It is hilarious where i see guys saying he was pushing loans and then out of the other side of their hypocritical mouth they say people should have personal responsibility. I agree with the latter but when it comes to Barney they blame him but when we asked them why are we socializing this bailout they are mysteriously silent or bring up the tired old welfare crap again and again and again. You haven't heard one of these hypocrites mention Phil Gramms name once. that is how phony these guys are.
