bej0101 - this is a game i've been eyeing up ALL WEEK - and ready to POUND...the infamous Dr. Bob is on SMU so that's good for Tulsa Backers 
- hoping that causes the line to drop some more...I love this Tulsa team - hit them last week
Here is what you have to love about Tulsa:
5-0 straight up
4-0 against the spread
Here is there offensive outputs this season:
45, 56, 56, 62, 63 - average of 56.4 a game...offense is like a fine tuned machine and executes near flawlessly
Points against this season:
22, 26, 14, 34, 28 - average of 24.8
So currently a 31.4 ppg differential...
The catch this week of course - on the road...but come on it's at SMU! Team giving up 41.3 a game! If ever a time to justify laying 24 on the road - it's this weekend w/ Tulsa!
I most likely will be on this play...2 of the faves I'm looking at making plays is Oklahoma and Tulsa.

Yeah it's official I'm making Tulsa a play - can get it at -24 right now so might as well lock into it - really was hoping w/ the "Dr. Bob" facor it would go down to 23 - but most likely this gets pounded tomorrow...I have 2 weddings to go to tomorrow - not happy about that - would rather be sitting on the couch making money! Guess I'll have to get in my plays, and root on the cell phone updates - gl tomorrow...

Not so fast my friends.....the last time in this series where a team won by more than 20 pts was back in 1998. Since then every game has been decided by less than 20 pts. Tulsa's defense is terrible just like SMU's giving up 400+ yds of offense to their opponents. Tulsa will score, but SMU should be able to score as well. Too many points....GL fellas!!
The seniors on NEB will remember that 70-10 thumping they took last time they visited Lubbock. They'll be ready and most importantly stay within 3 TD's. GL!!
As a dallas resident and Tulsa alum who follows C-USA closely, the Tulsa game hinges on one point - How many points will SMU score?
If SMU scores over 24 points the Over 78 is the play.
If SMU scores under 24 points, Tulsa -24 is the play.
I don't think you lose both.
A couple of things to consider:
-Mr. Bo Levi leads the world in interceptions with 15 and they come in bunches and they come at bad times.
-SMU has played better of late and will move the ball against below-average defenses
-I would consider Tulsa a below average defense.
-SMU will not quit and will keep passing.
-Todd Graham is not beneath running up the score (he played hurry up with less than a minute left vs Cent Ark up by 21)
Personally, I am playing the over for 2 units and Tulsa for 1 unit.
