Give me a damn break! How do you expect to pay for the 1 trilliion dollars of increased government spending that you have asked for. You do realize that the government has a huge debt, which has grown even larger do to the bailout. So you are gonna give everyone healthcare and all of these other benefits, but not increase taxes..

While I doubt that any politician will actually accomplish everything they say, consider that if the wealthiest 1% of Americans were taxed just ONE TIME at an increase of 2.5%, it would raise at least 1 trillion dollars.

The richest 1% of Americans have more combined wealth than the bottom 90% of Americans. If government raises taxes on the top 10% of the population, they will generate FAR MORE money than to raise taxes across the board, since not only does the top 1% of Americans have more combined wealth than the bottom 90%, but the other 9% that is not accounted for yet also has more combined wealth than the bottom 90%.
