Ravens coach John Harbaugh reaffirmed his commitment to Joe Flacco today, saying once again that he will stick with his rookie first-round pick as the starting quarterback for the rest of the season.
"We believe he's our starter. Joe's our guy," Harbaugh said. "I'm never a guy that's going to sit up here and say, 'Never ever.' But I don't envision a scenario today where Joe is not going to be our starter this year, save an injury."
Harbaugh alluded that Flacco would remain the starter this week.
But Flacco is coming off his worst game in his brief career, throwing a season-high three interceptions in a 31-3 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. He is the 29th-rated quarterback (60.6) in the NFL.
