Season 67-33-5 +53.5 units
last week 7-6-1
Favorites 16-8-2
Dogs 28-15-1
Overs 15-5-1
Unders 8-5

Week of tough beats for me saw me lose 3.3 units for the week by going 7-6-1. I think the Buffalo loss may be my worst beat in many years, how in the hell do you give up 22 points in 5 minutes and allow a team to tie it up on a hail mary. Georgia another tough beat, as they were getting ready to score and turn the ball over to give the Vols their best opportunity to score all day. I thought I might catch a break on my Huskers over total when it went OT but another pick ended that dream.

Early Plays

Duke +6**

NW-3**

PSU-23.5 (I know this is a look ahead game for PSU with OSU on deck, but Michigan outside of getting turnovers has no ability to generate scores. PSU defense is fast and will force Michigan to the air. If Michigan scores more than 10 points in this game I would be shocked).

Will Post the rest as I play them throughout the week. Also, what do you west coast guys think of the Cal and Zona game?

mc..

with you on nw....but after losing with ohio st & almost with usc laying large points, i am a little hesitant laying over 3 tds with anybody..it seems like these large favorites come out very flat because they think it's an easy game....but psu should dominate mich. raher handily..i think..

good luck

I'm amazed that the Cal/Zona game is a PK. I really expected AZ to be favored by at least 3' or 4 points. Even though they lost on the road to Stanford last week, Zona is a good team this year. Averaging over 40 points a game and giving up less than 17. 3rd best pass D in the nation, and 15th ranked D as far as total yards go.

This isn't to say Cal is a slouch. I think they are very equal to Zona, and the stats back that up. It just doesn't seem like Zona's homefield advantage is being factored in to the line enough.

It will be Zona or nothing for me if I play that game.

GL with your plays.

i haven't looked at the game yet but because of this i think it's cali or nothing for me....

Yeah, I see where you're coming from. It could certainly be a trap line. But then again, how many people realize how good AZ is this year? I would guess that public perception is that Cal is a much better team. If that's the case, they could have made Cal the favorite and still gotten plenty of action on them.

Small Play for me tonight

on the under 48 (one unit) in the FSU and NCST game, and passing on the BYU game although I have fairly decent numbers supporting a play on BYU, but the line movement has me perplexed.

Also Played:

Memphis +8.5 **
-I think we have one team that is just starting to peak, and one team that peaked early in the season. If you watdhed the Memphis and Louisville game, then you are aware that Memphis thoroughly dominated the game and really should of won outright.

NMXST +3 (bought the hook)**
-Mumme has the offense clicking and while San Jose has one of the better defenses in the WAC they are not going to completely shut down Holbrook. Aggies were highly impressive going on the road and knocking off one the upper echilon WAC teams last week, and I think they are going to be a bowl team this year for the first time in over 40 years.

Will post more as I play them.

That is movement is the only thing that is keeping me from putting 3k on qtr, and half, and then 5 k on game.... I really thought this was the game of the year for me, but too confused on what the line is doing...

Boundbook,

I think BYU is a vastly superior team to TCU on both sides of the ball, and have them winning this game by 7-10 points, but the line movement is odd and seems like TCU is the right side.

Summary of final card for me today unless something changes for the late afternoon or evening games. For the week, I am 1-0 with a 1 unit play on NCST under. Some of these games were played early in the week and posted when they were played, so the lines may be off because of movement.

Duke +6 (line is now 3)**

NW-3 (line is now 4)**

Memphis +8.5 (line is now 7.5)**

Aggies +3 (bought hook) **

NCST under 48 *-W

Zona+2.5*

GT over 38 **

Kansas over 60.5**

Pitt-2.5**

Toledo under 47*

PSU-23.5**

Buffalo-11***

Illinois-15***

SMU+14**
