Buffalo -11 over Army ***
Not a strong play because Army offense has found there wishbone.Have won 2 in a row,10th in the nation in rushing avg 304 yds.Mooney the Fb has two back to back 189 and 229 yds.Bowden the qb has really picked up the option.But I think if you stop Mooney and concentrate on Bowden they don't have enough around those two.Army isn't passing the ball like a Navy or AF does.In there 2 recent wins they haven't completed a pass[last 66 plays not one completion] Buffalo who has been having there problems can play 11 guys up on the line on defense and cause problems.There quicker and athletic enough to play 1/1 in certain situations.Army defense has played well the past few games but there are a lot of holes out there.Buffalo can cause some big problems with Wiley at qb.Bulls have a spread attack with solid rb's,good wr's.Bulls rushing defense is good.there weakness lies in pass defense and today they don't have to worry about that.
Think Bulls offense can put some big numbers up and Army running game will score but not enough to keep pace.Think Bulls can win this by 2 td's or more...
UL Monroe -17.5 over North Texas ***
Have been winning week after week going against NT.Not a big play today because UL-Monroe sits at the bottom of the Sun Conf too.But NT defense who is last in the country in everything...including having only 4 sacks can't stop anybody.Esp qb's that are mobile.UL's Lancaster can throw and run.NT defense has so many freshman playing,injuries,players quitting,etc...they can't generate a pass rush,there secondary can't cover,they can't tackle,etc..Of course of lot of this has to do with being young..NT offense scored 30 pts last week vs UL-laf..but D gave up 59..UL defense esp rushing defense is weak but NT doesn't have the rb's to attack it.UL pass defense is good so that will slow down the mean green.Not a big play this week because Monroe is no power in the Sun conf. but playing at home,revenge from lyr NT's win,and going vs a defense that is soo bad...UL wins by 3 td's
UConn +1.5 over Rutgers ***
Teel might be benched for Natale.Uprising in Piscataway...OL poor,WR's can't hold the ball and DT's have little depth. Brown comes in leading the nation in rushing for huskies.
Miss +11.5 over Bama **
Ohio St -3.5 over Mich St **
Penn St -24 over Mich ****
Arkansas +7.5 over Kentucky **
Ok St -17 over Baylor **
