Not sure if any of you had this game, but the TTech kicker missed not one, but two extra points today which one of them was ran back for a touch down which gave A&M 2 pts to "of course" somehow, someway mysteriously cost TTech a push or maybe a win against the spread. Just very funny how these things work out...huh? I had TTech today.

College kickers suck, so I wouldn't read much into that. And that's a ton of points to cover on the road for any college team, no matter who they're playing. A&M had some big plays called back or else the game would have been a lot closer, IMO.

So, I guess you're saying Wash St +42 at home today is the lock of the century??? LOL!!!! Not sure I'd take them +60 right about now....

No, I'm not saying that. Wazzu is the worst team in Division 1, and I still think USC may be the best team in the country despite the hiccup at OSU. There isn't a circumstance on this earth that would prompt me to ever bet on Wazzu, they are really that bad.

Having said that, I would never lay that many points with a road team in college football. Then again, I typically don't play road faves at all. I just think homefield is a really big factor in the college game, and it often doesn't get factored into the lines enough IMO.

I realize that in college, teams try to run up the score.... BUT

Tech Tech showed a lack of class by continuing to run plays with less than a minute left and Tex A&M out of timeouts. They could have taken a knee and the game would have been over and they would have won by 11.

If T A&M still had timeouts and was taking them at that point, then I guess I have no problem running plays. But with 20 seconds left - up 11 - not taking a knee, but running a QB bootleg instead just to add on the score???

Don't get me wrong - I cashed on this game - so it is not sour grapes.

But I do hope Texas Tech gets what they deserve after that poor display of sportsmanship - and seeing their schedule for the next 4 weeks, I kinda think they will :nono:

I agree Mags. It was very classless, and the final score doesn't indicate how close the game was. It's a shame that this kind of thing goes on every week because teams feel like they have to win in 'impressive' fashion for the BCS. Ridiculous.

TAMU was the correct side any way you slice it.

TT always runs up the score when opportunity presents itself, which is lame as pointed out by Mags and GQ.
