Hope we all moved on, my pool only lost two players due to the Cowboy loss :00hour

Early lean for me is the Jets, who host the Chiefs. With the Jets coming home off a loss, I think this is probably the best spot to use them this year.

Ravens and Texans are worth mentioning but are not as strong in my opinion.

Let's hear some thoughts.

Yeah, NYJ was the team I was looking at. Seems like a good play for them considering how bad KC is.

I think Philly could be worth a look. NE maybe - can STL win 3 in a row??

Down to 11 of 127 after one left by picking the Jets.

My early looks are the Jets, Ravens, Texans & Philly. Gotta look at it some more. Startin' to smell the cash.

I survived with both picks in tack... we lost 5 people.. (dallas 2, jets 2, Seattle 1)

Yes... someone actually took seattle.... 1000 people, down to 100 and you take the biggest underdog out there :mj07:

Pick 1
W1 - Philly
W2 - Arizona
W3 - Giants
W4 - Carolina
W5 - Dallas
W6 - Jets
W7 - TB

Pick 2
w1 - NE
w2 - TB
w3 - Buff
w4 - Jax
w5 - Car
w6 - NO
w7 - Giants

Early leans are
SF - seattle is BAD
Houston - Cincy is BAD... houston is a good team, especially at home
Jets - KC is BAD

:)

Stretches would be Balt and Philly

First off....what an idiot that guy is for taking Seattle in your pool.

Second, that may be my exact order of who I am thinking about taking. KC with a third string QB may jump up to the top... Farve vs. Thigpen.....

Food for thought... before their 50 yrd and 17 yard drives in the 4th, Seattle had 109 total yards for the game. Over the past 3 games they have 540 total yards!!!!

Open to discussion!

Right now I think Seattle is the worst team in football, that's right even worse than Detriot, but I'm not sure if I have 100% confidence in the Niners either. With the new rumors that Nolan might be fired, they are a rocky ship which I'd rather avoid.

I am surprised nobody has mentioned the Eagles. The Falcons has improved but they are much better at home than on the road and the 2 times they faced defenses of Philly caliber, they got blown out (Tampa and Carrolina)

The Eagles cant afford to fall any further behind and with the Cowboys being a big mess, this is their chances to make up some grounds.

I also like the Panthers at home, the Cards is just not good on the road while Carolina is in a tough 3-horse race in the NFC South and they can give anyone a run for their money, especially at home. Boldin is still out and I dont see Edge running on these Panthers.

Philly is a great pick, but most of us have used them already.... this upcoming week i really wish I had them.

Panthers are an ok choice in my honest opinion. Arizona can beat anyoneon anyday, but that is what the NFL prides itself on.

Also, why am I critiquing anyone I went 1 -3 this week?!?! Good luck with your pick.

I just dont know if I trust the Jets. You never know which Favre youre going to get.
I just always have to ask my self if I feel comfortable with my whole season on the shoulders of the Jets?
NOt really.
I'd rather lose picking Philly at home.
I think thats what I may do.

I hear you, but fading KC is something worth a shot, and I already used the Eagles anyway.

Exactly what I said about the Jets and Farve. Still have Philly in the bank so.....

initially i had narrowed it down to either philly or the jets. i think the jets are the better play based on opponents. i know atlanta hasn't played well on the road but they are a capable opponent and being an eagles fan i have a hard time backing them with their recent play. they looked awful vs san fran. the chiefs are down to a 3rd string qb and LJ has been ruled out for the game, add that they're on the road and i don't see them covering the 13, let alone coming close to an upset. going with the jets now since my pick is due on thurs.

NYJ for me also. I just cannot find any way to talk myself out of this play. I don't see any other week when I'd feel better using them.

Good luck to everyone. I hope we can all reconvene next Tuesday.

Tough week imo. I oviously have more options in pool #2 starting only 2 weeks ago, so will go with Philly there.

SF with a new HC vs. woeful Seattle, or Favre over a poor road team in KC. Leaning to Jets.....

Pool #1 Down to 8 participants!!

Wk 1 Phil
Wk 2 Tampa
Wk 3 San Diego ( almost went with Denver)
Wk 4 New Orleans
Wk 5 Carolina (Also considered Dallas heavily)
Wk 6 Minny
Wk 7 Houston
Wk 8 Thinking of SF or more likely NYJ

Pool #2 Started week 6 ( down to 45 from 74)

Wk 6 Saints
Wk 7 Houston
Wk 8 Philly

Good luck:weed:
