I think judging a team by how they played the previous week is one of the worst ways to handicap a game. I'm not sure Missouri will cover, but anyone who thinks they'll play like they did against Oklahoma State doesn't understand handicapping 101.

dd you should maybe consider first grade public school again

Just If Texas wins by 3 TD's, I'll eat crow. However, being ranked #1 and facing a team with Missouri's talent will be very difficult.

I'm not a Missouri fan, but realize when a wager looks solid and taking Missouri and then points looks very solid IMHO.

Daniel, the feisty Texas high school star, needed a big game in his home state to revive his Heisman hopes. The Longhorns kept him on the run, sacking him on the Tigers' third play and holding Missouri to just one first down on its first four possessions

that feisty bastid Chase Daniels, Heisman hopefull

they kept Daniels on run

AUSTIN, Texas -- Sometime during the week, the top-ranked Texas Longhorns dug a hole in a secret spot and buried the game ball from their big win over Oklahoma.

Texas has looked great against Oklahoma and Missouri the last two weeks.

Then, with the hype symbolically disposed of, the Longhorns went out and buried No. 11 Missouri
................................................................

I love when coachs do this motivation kind of shit.

Agent should take a page from this someday and bury a basketball. Trouble is Agent would probably get a chain saw to go through the gym floor.

I love how you bet AGAINST Texas last week and now you're backing them because you realize they're good. You should read your diatribe from last week about how OU was going to crush the Longhorns and how McCoy sucks. Now McCoy is suddenly the second coming:mj07: :142smilie

I'm going to be laughing if Missouri wins this game SU and you lose over 2,500 bucks. You have called me out and I'm just stating facts. Also, you're a bookmakers wet dream betting so much to win so little.

your really a stand up guy dd

The smart bettor doesn't bet Texas -2 @ -220 odds... the smart better would at least quit buying points @ -2.5.

.........................................................

Colt McCoy passed for a 337 yards and two touchdowns, ran for two more and set a school record with 17 straight completions in the kind of nearly flawless performance that he's starting to make look routine.

With four touchdowns against Missouri, QB Colt McCoy passed former QB Vince Young for first place on Texas' all-time list for touchdowns responsible for (passing, rushing, receiving).
? Longhorns quarterback Colt McCoy completed a school-record 17 straight passes at one point.

"We came out strong," McCoy said. "Every time we had the ball, we went down and scored. That's our standard."

Missouri (5-2, 1-2) didn't score until Jeff Wolfert kicked a 33-yard field goal on the last play of the half. By that time, the crowd had been taunting the Tigers with chants of "Over-rated!" for nearly 20 minutes. The Tigers tacked on two fourth-quarter touchdowns when the game was well out of reach.

Colt McCoy even made a show of tossing the Sports Illustrated magazine in the trash during a team meeting.

92% passing :142smilie

Colt McCoy is on Steroids !

Game Summary

YTD 5-1 + $ 2,325.00

Everything that needed to be said about this wager has been.

This game was a turning point for me.

In order to win out , I got to do certain things to position myself right. When I look back at seasons end , I will be able to identify things with this play that allowed me to overcome the odds of losing.

This is the middle game. During this time, money must be accumulated so that it can be
used when the end game time rolls up on us.
This is the time where risks must be taken for the betterment of the bankroll.

Winning takes patience.

You can't get jumpy early in the season when you have not seen the teams and been able to assess tendencies.

In sports wagering, just like life , things do not
come easily.

Now, on to next week
