I only care about the result of one contest this week, and it culminates on Tuesday. Yes. We. Can.

Some plays get me very concerned when I see a lot of people on those same plays, other times I like it when I read about the same play being prevalent. My assessment this week is that many good cappers are looking at many of the same games and seeing the right side for the right reasons.

- - Last week was tailor made for the Gophers to be exposed or caught flat. This week it's homecoming, with Bowl Scouts in attendance, against a banged-up rival in the conference standings, out to avenge a 21 point collapse in last year's game.

Lucky to escape from the early slate of games at 1-2.

- - Lots of games involving matchups of strong DLs facing suspect OLs. In addition, the unranked favorite vs. ranked dog at GT, a sloppy Cal team will be challenged by tough matchups across the board, and a coaching advantage IMO with BC off a disappointing effort last week (no coaching or situational disadvantages in any of the games, IMO). Getting back to the Iowa game, I've done very well this year in picking my spots for taking a lunchpail to work every day Iowa team, and riding the see-saw with a fat Zook squad.
