Get real. You lose the conference championship in no way shape or form do you belong in the National Championship.

Well as I mentioned earlier in another thread, IF the 2 meet up, action will take over conversation......can I ask HOW MANY of you thought BAMA would be ahead of GEORGIA, LSU, or Florida to this point? Florida JUST STARTED looking like they have a clue of how to win games, BAMA has done it ALL YEAR!! To be honest most of you as well as the talking heads had Georgia #1 and winning the SEC hands down, that worked out well.
I do understand losing the champonship game will hurt the chances and most likely kill the chance for either team, but PLEASE name me a better conference....I'll wait as long as you need to answer that one, winning out (if that happens) in the most talented conference in the nation speaks volumes for a team that noone had on the radar, BAMA CAN BEAT ANYONE ON ANY GIVEN DAY...

I dont drink the USC Kool aid, if they were placed in the SEC, they wouldnt survive too many seasons undefeated IMO. And I am praying Bama doesnt slip on a banana peel next week, but lets give credit wheres its due, losing to Oregon St then blowing out the rest of an awful schedule should hold much weight but the talking heads and CPUs will somehow place them right toeards the top because they are the sexy team of college football.

There are plenty of 1 loss teams that would/could give Bama all they could handle & then some.

Possibly, but Bama wins on DEFENSE versus most of these other teams, and as the old saying goes.....DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS. I will say this, these final 4-5 weeks will be VERY FUN!! Just like colllege football is supposed to be, now if these assholes would just introduce a fucking playoff system...fans like you and I wouldnt have to have these discussions:mj06:

I just think Bama will go down to the Gators.

Then Florida will embarrass Penn St in the National Championship.

I would have loved my Horns to have had a shot(which Bama obviously has), but really the schedule just proved to be too brutal in the end.
