The one for sure LOCK of this election is that:

McCain or Obama, whomever wins will have one hell of a time cleaning up after 8 years of retarded leadership from the Bush administration. I feel bad for these guys since they will more than likely only be one termers since the public is thinking they will be able to clean up the mess of W, but four years is way to short to cleanup this mess. I hope everyone on this site gets out and votes tomorrow, and no matter who wins we are in a better position than we are today.

in 4 years,this country will no longer be the strongest nation in the world...

we`ll be even more beholding to every nation that produces OUR energy...and we still won`t be any closer to that "magic carbuerator" or whatever it is that obama thinks will magically transform us away from oil....

we`ll be forced to ration energy.....gas prices will soar when opec realizes that with a democrat president and congress we`ll never even attempt to utilize our own resouces....

while all that oil/coal/natural gas and nuclear power goes untapped...

we`ll be so much deeper in debt...and we`ll all be paying higher taxes because obama`s "tax the rich" plan isn`t feasible.....they`ll need additional funds to float all these social programs(from "free" healthcare to more stuff for illegal aliens to giveaways to the non-productive i.e.tax cuts to the non-tax payersi.e. welfare... to free college and on and on)........i could go on for an hour...

the border situation will get exponentially worse...

we`ll relax our vigilance against terror attacks...the patriot act will be gutted...gitmo terrorists will be released onto our streets because their own countries don`t want them...

we`ll cut military spending which will embolden russia,china and al qaeda....

a new 9/10 dollar an hour minimum wage will wreak havoc on small AND big businesses....

the new union election laws will allow union thugs to intimidate workers and drive big business out of this country in a way that will make this freddie/fannie crisis seem like a cakewalk...

get ready to reap what you sow...

Even with your prediction of the worst case scenerio, we will still be in better shape than we are today. Today, this administration has went 8 years without any type of road plan and haphazard long term thinking. Like I said, no matter who wins McCain or Obama they have a tough road ahead of them due to the Bush administration lack of planning.
