The Rep. party has lost it's way for years. Now they have hit rock bottom or pretty damn near close. Now is the time for the party to reorganize and get back to the party basics of social conservatism and economic conservatism.

By conservative I hope you mean limited government involvement.

Not shoving the bible down everyone's throat with the power of government.

exactly,blitz...i was actually torn when mccain was nominated.....that`s why i said(god forgive me)that i`d settle for hillary for 4 years....i wouldn`t have minded that rather than having a non-conservative like mccain shape the party for the next 4 years...

now we can start over and do it right...

i figured hillary`d be similar to bill`s presidency, which, although i didn`t agree with much of bill`s policies,it wasn`t a country changing shift to the extreme left...

obama is a radical(sorry dems).....he is a socialist..period...i base that on his books, his associations...his minimal voting record in congress...

all that said,i`ll give him a chance...i won`t like it...but i`ll try and be fair...

but i have real concerns...worries...

it`s obvious that under obama, america has decided that iranian nuclear bombs really aren't anything to worry about...

and when the pendulum swings to having more net tax receivers than net tax payers, it's very hard to convince that receiving majority to give up the goodies they'll be getting from the "dastardly rich people."...

socialism is a very difficult trend to reverse.......

i have to be honest...i can forsee 12% unemployment, the dow under 5K, terrorist attacks on american soil, $200/bbl oil. ...even worse border control...

i hope i`m wrong....

we`ll find out...

btw...jessie jackson is crying for the camera...that galls me a bit...

i pray obama pulls to the middle...

Yep. They got too influenced by evangelism and oil. Lost their way as a result. If they can get back to fiscal responsibility, stop trying to legislate morality, and stop pre-emptively invading countries that never attacked us then they might get my vote again.

You have to legislate morality, you want men marrying men and women marrying women. I was so glad today when I saw Prop 8 got defeated.

More and more people don't care who marries who. Gay people are gay and always will be. It's unconstitutional to deny Americans their pursuit of happiness. No logic in making anti-gay laws.:sadwave:
