as a california resident and conservative i've come to accept that my presidential vote has become rendered meaningless

you need to be a crafty capitalist like myself and figure out a way to vote in a battleground state, despite living in cali.;)

bs post; Sarah is a great person, believe it or not. I think you saw the kind of class she and McCain both had last night with his fantastic concession speech. I love almost everything about this woman, and I wish her tremendous success in the future. The Republican party needs to get back to its roots, and Mrs. Palin can be a big part of that.

quite honestly, those states are likely never going for a rep pres candidate again unless there is a complete backlash against the dem candidate (similar to w this year) in which case they'd vote for a true conservative anyway.

the states where a true conservative can win/swing voters is in the states that are always up for grabs

ohio-fla-mich-penn-wisc-mizzu-col-nev-nm-nc-nj

as a california resident and conservative i've come to accept that my presidential vote has become rendered meaningless

I would take NJ off that list. NJ is very dark blue.

Clint:

She may be nice. She may be church going. She may be trustworthy. She may be able to drive the kids to soccer and/or hockey. But there is no way, no how, she is capable of leading this country. Period the end.

And thats a forever and ever. Amen.

Eddie

For once Eddie and I are on the same page here.

For the first time since I have been able.... I DID NOT VOTE. Usually vote Republican but I couldnt bring myself to do it. McCain was part of the reason but mostly it was her. I was terrified of something happening to McCain and this horses ass would be left in charge of our country..

Every time I heard her speak the only thing I could think was FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE!

Listening to her talk was like having your gums scrapped with an iron hook!

People say they would like to see her in Playboy??? YUCK

Good riddance to bad rubbish:sadwave:

I'd like to hear where you stand on the political spectrum if you dislike mccain but also think she's a bozo. the 2 of them pretty much cover both wings of the republican party.

mccain nominated her because he had to...

you have to throw a hail mary when you happen to be the lamest nominee in republican history...

and to that extent,it partially worked...

wouldn`t have looked good for mccain to draw a couple hundred people at his campaign stops...

a socialist and a liberal rino....millions had no dog in this hunt...

i disagree with what gibber did...but i understand it..

btw...that was the largest post-election dow nose dive in history...

have to disagree with you here 65....sarah palin is not the future of the republican party...she needs more polish(don't mean on her nails) as gw said it was a hail mary pick by mccain to try & get more of the female voters from hillary...the future of the republican party are the governors of louisiana & minn.(who i wanted mccain to pick) & romney...and btw...my friend heard a rumor that romney turned mccain down for vp...but don't know if i believe that...

you missed the point,stevie....reread what i wrote...it was in reference to those on this site who are still totally insulting even in victory...

yet some ask,"why not be gracious in defeat"..."give barack a chance"...

well,as the shit continues to be flung at palin....and after 8 years of bush bashing....it`s the democrat`s turn to take some harsh medicine...

read this slowly...i`m not reiterating this issue for you again

Bush sucked! Look at the results. His administration has been widely given a vote of no confidence. Even McCain didn't want to be paired with him. Did Bush campaign for any Republican Senator? It was not Bush bashing for the sake of bashing. It was bashing because he was tearing the country apart piece by piece.
You will have to wait a couple of months before you start blaming Obama for everything that happens. Sorry, that is just the way it is. You can't blame a guy until he actually has a chance to do something.
As for Palin.....if you are satisfied with her answers good for you.

Interesting if true. Romney probably seeing it was a losing year and waiting for 2012 or 2016.

You need to rest something! I got news for you. The lay offs haven't even started yet. These are NOT Obama's fault. They are happening under Bush's watch. If McCain or Palin or Jesus himself was elected President these layoffs will still come. So you be prepared. And yes by all means REST!

If you don't get the Middle Class back to work and spending money this is what you get. The gas prices scared the bejesus out of everybody. People stopped spending money. It's a snowball effect. You can't tax and keep charging the middle class for everything. When the price of gas goes to 4 bucks a gallon the working man doesn't have any extra cash. Oh and get a clue. Trickle down doesn't work at these tax rates.

why so fractious,bud....we agree...:toast:

the layoffs will skyrocket during the obama administaration due to uber-taxing of business and the producers and even bigger government....

we`re as one,my brother!
