The Steelers +3 over the Redskins got me back on track after a 0-2-1 weekend.
Overall 2008 Recap:
Record:
15-11-4
Breakdown:
Teasers:
9-7-3
Sides:
6-4-1
Big 3 unit plays:
1-1
Medium 2 unit plays:
6-3
Small 1 unit plays:
4-5-1
Very Small 1/2 unit plays:
4-1-1
Total = +3.95 units @ $3000 a unit = +$11,850
Leans:
9-3-1
One Small One Unit Play for tonight:
Cleveland Browns -3
Over Broncos
The Broncos are starting to fade as I pointed out weeks ago?their defense can?t stop the run and has struggled versus the pass?plus they will be missing CB Champ Bailey and S Marlon McCree tonight?on the flip side?their offense has struggled the past several weeks because they can?t run the football and have a rash of injuries as well?TE Tony Scheffler will likely miss tonight?s game along with HB?s Pittman and Young making rookie HB Ryan Torian the starter tonight?injuries and the lack of a running game have hurt QB Jay Cutler?s production?Brady Quinn gets the start for the Browns but I expect a healthy diet of Jamal Lewis pounding the rock against a porous Broncos defense which will keep the pressure off of Quinn to make plays?I expect the Dog pound will be rocking tonight giving the Browns a huge home field advantage and extra incentive to start the Brady Quinn era off on the right foot?the Browns are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 home games?6-1 ATS in their last 7 off a ATS loss?9-2 ATS after a SU loss and 9-0 ATS in the last 9 games that they gave up 30 or more in the previous game?the Broncos are just 7-19-1 ATS in their last 27 AFC tilts, 7-20-1 ATS in the last 28 on grass, 7-24-1 ATS in their last 32 games and just 2-6 ATS in their last 8 November tilts.
Cleveland 26 Denver 20
Loss...If only they had played the fourth quarter.
