1-2

dont have much time about to step out to go to coachs meeting but really love this one tonight...

FIU -6

FIU has a tremendous front court, all-conf SF Alex Gallindo who was a transfer from Kansas and a tremendous 7 footer in Russel hicks who was a transfer from Pepperdine. along with Hicks who set a school record with 60 blocks last season is another 6-11 eraser in Badara Ndiaye.

FIU is very deep this year and has a deep backcourt along with probably top front court in the sun belt. E. Kentucky has a good scorer in Rose but that front court will be too much for them.

Unless im missing somethign here I cant see FIU not cruising by double digits in this home opener.

good luck guys

ouch! did not see Gallindo was out....what the hell, will let it ride anyway, Hicks is a force inside and E. Kentucky will have no answer for him, they can not match up with the size as Hicks has a good 5 inches on his counterpart unless E. Kentucky throws true freshman Cordaro Ellis into the fire who is only 6'9 himself.

AR Little Rock -3

Trojans return all 5 from a 20 win team last year. Shields teaches his teams tough D and rebounding and UALR are a big team with toughness. UALR will compete for 1st place in the Sun Belt while Cal Poly is picked to finish LAST in the Big West....and the Torjans are only 3 point favs? Poly has a lot of question marks on what should be a very weak offense....I cant see Trojans not winning by more than 3 but everyhing that has looked good to me thus far has been the opposite....I'd probably fade :mj07:

San Francisco +4

Love Dior Lowhorn. Big time forward that Hawaii will struggle to stop. Also have Manny Quezada who is a nice compliment guard to Lowhorn. These 2 both averaged double digits last year (Lowhorn led the WCC in scoring). These are the 2 big guns SF has and will rely heavily on. They are not deep as most of the team is new but these 2 should keep them in this game. Hawaii is soft down low with a bunch of 6'7 swingmen. Lowhorn should domiante the inside tonight. Hawaii is very inexperienced and could hurt them early. They do have the great home court advantage in Hawaii though...if this game was in SF I'd take the Dons by 5, instead I take them getting 4 in a game they might lose but could easily win on the main land.
