Thanks for the link, Wayne. I've already signed up with the 'Iranian personals' service and reached out to that hottie with the nice cans, 'LadyT80.'

I've never dipped the wick into a Middle Eastern melting pot, but I have a good feeling about this one.

One more piece uniting the world!

How wonderful to have Valerie on board. One more intelligent person helping to unite the world in a peaceful way! It is so refreshing. And the combination of her wisdom with Mr Obama's is one of the greatest benefits for this country. It takes a primitive "caveman" attitude to start violent wars. And, as Albert Einstein said, You can not solve a problem with the same mentality that created it!! With our "new Mentality" leading this country, it will be a challenge, but those of us who know, will see the world unite much more in a more peaceful manner.
thank you Valerie. Beatriz

Just another example of O's plan to surround himself with smart competent people.

Nice appointment for Senior Advisor.

you are going slow for me? :mj07:

Thanks. Yeah, she was born in Iran. Got it. Still have no idea what your point is. Is it that since her father was a physician on a humanitarian mission in Iran causing her to be born there she must be a terrorist? Rezko and Wright? Honestly, do you have anything at all other than rehashing the same old shit over and over and over and over again? What a tired old routine.

keep you friends close, and your enemies closer.

I know diplomacy is a difficult concept for some here. If you study history, those nations skilled in negotiating/manipulation have done much better than the barbarians who just attack everything in their path.

I don't get it.. what's not to like... Great AMERICAN, FROM A GREAT AMERICAN FAMILIY.... She is smarter than most, has a unique understanding of a part of the world and a Country/Iran that we need to understand @ this time.... your reaction to this appointment is predictable and sad... I love the way that you try to slime her and question where her loyalties lie.... Is there anything out there that would suggest, she would put Iran or any other country before America ? Obama just proved why is he qualified to be president with this move... This guy isn't afraid to learn from anyone, including ayers and rev wright...... The challenges that we face as a nation, can only be solved by our connection to the rest of the world & the parts of america that you have ZERO VALUE for... Obama didn't make the rules... he's has to play the hand. I think most Americans don't want him to surround himself like our last president did. Bush played to the lowest common demoninator... The fact that you don't understand this appointment or agree with it, tells me it's good for America !

A friend of mine in New Orleans was born in Indonesia while his father worked for Freeport-McMoran. Does that make him Indonesian?

Who cares that she was born in Iran:shrug: What are you so afraid of?

I'm thinking the same way. I find myself shaking my head in disgust at DTBs posts on a regular basis. Not sure what toook me so long to catch on that he is a closed-minded racist.

I may lean right, but I am an equal-opportunity basher of the extremists on both sides.

He did a paper at SE Missouri State that proved the order of the races. He knows what he's talking about.;)

Interesting that Wayne attended SE MO St., and I attended SW MO St. (Now Missouri State). That would explain why he leans to the right (east) and I lean the the left (west). Guessing we were at those schools fairly close to the same timeframe.

Or in the infamous words of Steven Wright...

"We went to different schools together." :)
