What the hell are you talking about, Seattle sucked that whole game and deserves nothing. Granted the Steelers sucked all day yesterday but the ending was just incredible. If you can point out the forward lateral or even a flag to call it I would be shocked. Sometimes the NFL just makes me wonder.

Gags, I don't have the time to explain it to you. I know someone who does though. He's made over 17,000 posts here at MJ's! He has nothing but time on his hands. Let me know if you're interested.

Don't forget Super Bowl XL. Paybacks are hell!

First I want to clarify that I had nothing on the game yesterday.

Secondly, I'm sure the refs going into yesterday's game said "how can we fix this game so the Steelers don't cover and get everyone back from 3years ago when they won Super Bowl XL?"...

Good Point!

I lost on Seattle that Superbowl and remember being so upset about how fixed that game was. Fast forward to yesterday, where I actually had a small play on San Diego and was pleasantly surprised at how fixed that game was.:mj07: Bottom line is that even if some games are 'fixed' you can still be on the right side.

i dont believe the league fixes games, but to think ther isnt a ref in the league trying to effect the outcomes of games ever with a call here or there is naive in my opinion.

not saying it necessarily happened during this game, but you think donaghy was the only guy to realize that a call her or there effects the spread? there is a lot of money to be made out there for someone willing to nudge the score a few points one way or the other.

Gags-Seattle sucked only if you add in the fake offensive interference on their 1st qtr touchdown,a "ticky tacky penalty" in the estimation of most observers who a)played football and b)aren't from pennsylvania,if they didn't have a phantom hold take back a pass to the one yd line(John Madden"I didn't see a hold there")f*ck they called hasselbeck for a penatly when he tackled an interceptor for christs sake! That was without a doubt the most unevenly officiated game in superbowl history.Only 5% of games in the NFL go to teams that had less time of possession, more turnovers and less yards than the opponent and up until this sorry superbowl NO playoff game had ever been won by a team on the wrong end of time of possession, turnover and total yardage.plus the ref that made the interference call was from...................pittsburg,nothin' wrong with that in your mind I'm sure it was merely a coincidence............

And no team has ever won 3 road games as a wildcard then won a SB. Who gives a rat's ass about stats or a game that is ancient history. All I know is that the ref from yesterday's game is an idiot for letting this happen. Hell he even admitted he fawked it up. In this day and age it is just terrible this could happen. Just imagine if the game hinged on this play.

We could argue for weeks about SB XL but I'm done, moving on.

I've learned along time ago that sports are fixed and it is better to be on the right side. How can sports be fixed you say?

1. Players can't fix games because they can not keep their mouths shut!!

2. Coaches can't either!

3. Refs you say? Did you watch the game, Pitts had how many penilities?

4. When they had a chance to cover (last play of the game) it is called back on make believe Chit. Then it is admitted that there was a mistake but Vegas still get all of the winnings with a smile to boot!

5. Who was the whole country on..........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................Pittsburgh!!!

Fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. I was on the losing side obviously!

Well do you really think its all the same people betting on Pitt yesterday that bet on them 3 years ago?

I am sure a lot of people who bet on them yesterday, didnt bet on Pitt in that Superbowl.

Thats exactly what I was going to say but I didn't have the time...Wise says Karma is a bitch but its not Karma...What if the same people that bet Seattle in the Super Bowl bet on Pittsburgh yesterday...Is that Karma? Those people got screwed twice.

Whatever... you all can say what you want about the Super Bowl but the point is it was 3 yrs ago and if your still upset about that game then you should stop GAMBLING!

Also did anyone say anything when Oregon beat Oklahoma in 2006 from a bunch of bs calls and an onside kick debacle...Did anyone say well that was karma for Oklahoma backers???

Its a ridiculous statement...either way it is what it is and Good Luck to all of you tonight no matter what side your on!
